Watching the opposition tearing our defence a new one, again, reminded me of when JS and JB were firsts choice selections and did pretty well when we had the high press. But then their lack of pace was found out, and some of the awful positioning and mistakes by JS left JB exposed, and he gradually lost confidence, leading to he and the fans not hitting it off and his escape to Villa.
It would be criminal if the managers allowed this scenario to unfold again. |

He just is nowhere near PL standard, and has cost us doubly in this game with an average Man U team. It just goes to show how inadequate RM’s judgement is.
Archer looks like a poor stand in for AA, but you have to put that down to the sporting director and his team. |

Southgate had mixed results as a club manager. His record at that stage would not really have got him an interview, yet his induction into the FA showed that he could get there. No reason to think that Carsley cannot, given his success with the U21s, and the obvious enthusiasm shown by the players he has coached with them. |

I am not sure that the lack of nationalist sympathies in the young as greater now than it was when I was young. I was 37 and had lived abroad in two countries whilst working before I became conscious that I was British, and I wanted my kids to grow up as Brits.
Before that, I didn’t much care. |

The game that sticks in my memory, and my craw, was Southampton 1 Leicester City 9. Tipping it with rain and a cold wind to boot. After 30 mins, the supporters around me had largely cleared off, so it made everything more dreary still.
One of the reasons I stayed to the end was I thought I might see PL history made. 😂 |

Why would players or agents sue over false information on the social media? In order to prove it is false, they would have to prove it was false, with a correct figure. |
