He'll be 100% fit for the players parade at the last home game of the season... just in time to sell him back to newly-promoted Sunderland for a fraction of what we paid them for him. He'll then score goals galore in the PL for them next season.

Elon Musk is helping Reform bankroll their political campaign and along with Elon's mates Nigel Farage & Donald Trump, fellow Reform MP Rupert Lowe should be begging Farage to get in on the next Musk/Farage meeting and persuade Musk to buy the club. Manchester United were Musk's favourite team when he was younger... but we'll forgive him that.
Imagine a Saints shirt with 'TESLA' on the front... let alone the Yankee-style, scantily-clad cheerleaders as entertainment.

With relegation now a dead certainty, you'd like to think the players would play with a bit more freedom & a lot less pressure on them. The last few months of the season is a time for the new gaffer to get to know his squad & have them play his way.
It's important the owners get the comings & goings right in the Summer - ready for life back in the Championship. Sadly, going on their previous history, I won't be holding my breath. |

Agreed. We'd all be pissed off if Saints had scored that goal up the other end. Ramsdale was a big squinny for their goal & should have done better. |

Downes is injured I believe.
HT and it's 1-1. We were the better side but Palace finished much stronger after we'd scored. Midfield is piss weak with no defensive midfielders on the pitch. Defence is getting overrun at times and HT couldn't have come soon enough.
Lots of work to do second half if we're to get anything from this game. Great to see so many yellow shirts in and around the box whenever we attack though - unlike Mr Tippy-tappy's sh1te system. |

Good first half - flat as fukk the second.
Same old story really ; no real quality up front. Can't see anyone scoring goals regularly for us & that will be, and is, our ultimate downfall.
Good to see the tippy-tappy bollocks across the back disappear from our game though.
All in all, and despite having a new manager, the scoreline is near enough what I expected. Even if we had Pep or Klopp in charge, the squad is well below what's needed in the top flight. Good luck to Juric though. I like the fella. |
