The perils of dropping out of League Two 13:14 - Apr 16 with 3288 viewskrafty80

Interesting article from BBC looking at long-term patterns of promotion/relegation from the bottom tier of the league; looks like York would set a precedent if they go down.

Shame about the unnecessary courting of opinions of 'high profile' Luton chairman mind, a club few people would welcome back to the League.

More or less states the obvious, and whoever compiled the bottom part of the league table didn't include Accy's 3 points from Friday night. Although the ex-York manager seems bitter that he was doing better than his replacement, I hope York stay up.

From Dale's point of view (attendances and travelling) better if two of the current bottom four go down. Similarly, I'd prefer Mansfield to get automatic promotion and probably Wrexham via the play-offs.

Gillingham and Port Vale are bound for L1. Probably best if Cheltenham and Northampton go with them (even better if Exeter went, but they've probably blown their chance).
