Davies thought he was the SUPER FAN. He will be jealous.
Which is why I cringe a bit at this. The supporter of the year thing is a great award and I was very proud to follow in my dad's footsteps and win it, but we're all just fans supporting the club in our own way and using terms like 'super fan' for some is unhelpful.

Unhelpful for you. I find it very helpful. It's hilarious, and I shall use it frequently from now on, both in person and on here.
Oh, and if it didn't come from you, why were you wearing a t-shirt with "Superfan" on it in the Crown & Sceptre before the Swansea game?
I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.

How do you mean?
I've always just said what I think and given an honest opinion, never been that fussed who sees it.
I just wondered whether you found it creepy!
These days it seems like the club has a lot more interest in what the fans speak about than they ever did under the tango and cash regime, so wondered whether you had ever had any feedback.
I suppose that would be unprofessional tho and heavens forbid they are that any longer!
Puny God!

Clive, Did they ask you to write about the new set up or was it your suggestion?
I haven't written about the new set up - that's two separate articles referred to in that sentence. I've written about whether or not signing players like Cesar and Granero will see the team's mentality climb up to theirs where they're used to winning and we will no longer be taking positives from 3-1 defeats at Man City or draws with Norwich.

My mistake, I misread the tagline.
So Taylor/the club have no input in the subjects you choose?

Well congrats on taking over from Finney as the official Super Fan.
You've come a long way since the Nando's interview

No none at all. Wouldn't have said yes if it had been like that.
I'll be sensible with it obviously - think it's fair to say my match preview intro this week wouldn't have made the cut if I'd sent it in for the programme - but I can pick the subjects.
No fee involved either - again, wouldn't have taken one had it been offered or there'd have been a risk of conflict of interest.
