How good was Dunne's goal!

Hope he signs a new contract. We need a centre forward. He has such good awareness up front. Give him the number 9 shirt. But in all seriousness, he sometimes looks more aware, comfortable and dangerous when he goes forward than most of our forwards.

Never knowingly right.

This season he has gone up to another level.

Looks clumsy and not always in control.

But does all the simple things and often can do somethings with a touch of class.

Gets 110% out of his ability and puts in the maximum effort throughout the 90.

Alongside Dickie, they both looked awful, but legend already.

If as is likely Cook goes, put a percentage of his wages into Dunne's bank account. This man is key for ourselves.

Drop Cook. Bring on Morrison and give Dunne the captaincy.

I fear he will get a better offer elsewhere and we will kick ourselves. We could compound it by signing Ashby as his replacement- please God !!!!!

Gorgeous goal.

Really shocked when he went for it. Fair play.

Great goal. But was he using the correct studs? His slip in front of the 1st goal really cost and he and others seemed to have trouble staying on their feet.

Super goal but culpable for both of theirs albeit indirectly. As you say slipped at just the wrong moment when he was about to make a challenge and no denying the quality of the finish.
While the 2nd began with a Cook error, Dunne got burned by Murphy before the cross. Love Dunne but he is exonerated from blame virtually all the time, while Paal gets blamed for everything. Nobody praised him for his block for a certain goal v Derby when the game was still very much in the balance.

Good chat......it was not one of Dunne's better games. Good skills with his goal.

Agree re Paal too, posters are very blinkered, another pretty steady performance from Paal yesterday but i see there is a negative post about his post match interview!!!!.

Really good finish. Pity, his primary job, defending, didn't go nearly as well.
