Anyone not hating what Trump is about has issues A convicted felon, corrupt, sexually warped, manipulative and self centred with not one fork given for anyone else A man do utterly grotesque in every way , it really does makes one wonder what makes Americans tick On their way to hell on a handcart And one who deserves the ultimate sanction , as does Putin
I detest Trump with a passion, but some things he is saying are true. Zelensky is indeed a dictator. He's had 3 years to make a deal with Russia , but hasn't and walked away from the last talks. It's probably the reason he hasn't been included this time. Looks like Putin and Trump are about to carve up the Ukraine as Trump wants American money returned . The piper has to be paid

It seems this is one page we are both very much on. Trump is using the war to virtually blackmail Ukraine into giving him more than the USA has supplied.
The USA has sent them approximately 135 billion since 2014 but Trump is trying to force them to sign a deal worth in excess of 500billion. Trump has been descibed as "transactionalist" but to me he is just another predator, he's preying on the weak and desperate. We cannot trust him, we should not trust him and anybody who supports him has to be looked on with suspicion.

USA is not the only show in town. UK has a number of huge mining firms that would welcome UK government support and will give Ukraine a much better deal than Trump presumably.
Glencore , BHP, Anglo American Rio Tinto all have the cash and knowledge.
Europe and UK need to get in there and compete. They should be offering decent terms not the insulting terms Trump has offered.
Europe needs to turn that $300 billion frozen Russian assets into weapons before any peace talks. Russia is out of troops and our of the tanks.
The tide may have turned with RF losing small amounts of ground in Proprosk and near Suzdja. The mighty Russian army has had Ukrainians on their oil van cannot shift them which is pretty pathetic.

It's going to get carved up, especially with Trumps attempt at extortion.

I’m pretty sure Trump isn’t going to be the saviour people think.
But he cares about his people and he does what he says. He is for the people.

Since the last talks in 2022 Ukraine has recovered Kherson as large areas of their own land. I read somewhere in n the region of 70,000 sq Km. This is twice the size of Cymru and the same area roughly as Scotland.
Russia has grinded a bit of this back but at the same time lost parts of Kursk
Has they agreed in 2022 Kherson would be Russian and Odessa under direct threat.
The election results in Germany have thrown up an interesting prospect, the man who may well be the new Chancellor is worried about Trump, he said,
“For a just peace, the attacked country must be part of peace negotiations,” Merz added, in what was interpreted as a sideswipe at the Trump administration after it began talks with Russia last week on ending the war that excluded Ukraine and Europe.
Merz later said he would seek good ties with the United States under Trump but was also ready for “the worst-case scenario”. He was “hopeful that we can maintain the transatlantic relationship” but warned that “all the signals we are receiving from the United States indicate that interest in Europe is decreasing”.
Europeans, he added, must now act together swiftly to organise their own defence capability. “This really is five minutes to midnight for Europe,” he said.
It seems Merz agrees with me, it's now time to throw of the shackles of the USA and for Europe to stand by itself. Trump cannot be trusted.
