Thanks Jamie - Feel for you and the other 600 hardy souls who were served up that slop.

Let's hope the Nourry Christmas communication doesn't set off another chain reaction as per the fans forum. We need to get 4 points from the Watford / Luton home games. Norwich will murder us on Sunday.

I know money is tight but the January window is huge and we will need to move a few out to bring in the necessary personnel to keep our heads above water.

Losing Cook and Morrison is a real body blow.

Think the report actually goes quite easy on the team (and management team) at the end, even if the loss of Morrison clearly played a big part in upsetting the apple cart. None of which explains the utter systemic failure from front to back for at least 45 mins. Even when we got a bit of the ball, though, we did little or nothing with it. You'd be hard pressed to find a worse showing anywhere this season.

As I wasn't there, I was interested to know how the away support reacted at the end, and what acknowledgment there was from the players/manager, if any.

I value the opinion of people who are at the games.

It's why on the rare occasions I'm not at the games, I pay money and travel expenses to get a reporter there rather than write it myself off a stream. Because you know nothing off a stream. Nothing.

I swear to God, after sitting through you carpet bombing this message board for the last 24 hours, if you start picking away with your "I'm a professional editor/poet" pseudo intellectual routine at a young lad who did travel, and was there, and goes to every game, and is writing for us for the first time, has done a fcking fantastic job here over and above anything I ever expected, and filed the thing at 5am this morning so I had it to post when I came online first thing ...

Thanks Jamie. I only saw the second half on the telly, so really appreciate the report.

Thanks for the report (and impeccable player ratings), Jamie. As the late Richie Benaud would have said ‘it’s a fine effort, that.’

Now, somehow I just need to shake off the latest round of post QPR-SD before the next 45 Mins of water-boarding commences.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Lovely report Jamie. Couldn't see the match even on-screen but grateful to you for your being there (so we didn't have to).

A good sign for these things is where they manage to make even a dismal showing into an entertaining piece. You've managed it here, so thanks.

Lovely debut report mate, well done to you and the other 542 supporters for going.

Pity about the performance and score.

Stainrod I have no idea if you’ll see this as I have you blocked but it’s a response to you.

Every time I see a post of yours on this forum (logged out) I have a giggle. You’re so relentlessly negative, unhappy, antagonistic that I wonder how you have any pleasure in your actual life. Other people who post here have their own families, friends, enjoyment etc separate of here that you can infer about but you seem to only have the desire to rile others up on one QPR-based website. I mean really mate, I’m a new poster on here so I’m not trained in the glossary and typical responses to going three down (aside from pitchside) but give it a rest eh?

Thank you Jamie for your excellent report, the robbie williams bit really made me laugh!

I'd have led in with the Robbie Williams chimp sex. We'll train Jamie up.

Yeah knock some edges off him….. the kids just monkeying around

I didn’t see any of it as the moody stream Gods were smiling on me.
The report shocked me to my core as I wasn’t aware we actually got near the Swans penalty box on a couple of occasions.
Wondrous.

Cap doffed to Jamie and his travelling band of loons

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

One of my 'high points' in my day is checking in to LFW. I liked the game. MUCH better than the Derby or Leeds displays. It definitely highlighted how good the Dunne/Morrison tandem are.

1. I think that after trying Dunne and Field in partnership with Dunne, maybe they (Dunne) would be a fit with JCS as a lefty/righty combo, with Ashby in his natural RB and Paal left.

2. The midfield triangle is not a finished article either, even if Varane and Morgan have greatly improved the product. Marti's penchant for rotation could/see spots for Colback, even EDB. I did like the suggestion of Chair in the 10 role instead of Mads or Morgan.

I'm surprised EBD isn't getting minutes at this point.

Great report Jamie. Sounds like the first half we got away with against Bristol .
We go again against Norwich.
We’ve had a good run .

Great report, thanks.
Really depressing performance. I thought the tactics and formation didn’t suit and Cifuentes inflexibility sometimes worries me. If any game needed 3 CBs - 5 at the back it was this one. We know how Swansea play they are vulnerable to the old fashioned stuff, yes almost a little bit of Ainsworth …This was not a time to play a build from the back possession game.Frey should have started., Maybe even Frey and Kolli ( slightly deeper ). Compressed mid field. Yes I know it’s easy to be an armchair manager but you could see from the very beginning that our set up and tactics weren’t suited. I’m not sure that Fox was any worse than anyone else: we just couldn’t cope with their passing and movement. Possession stats are meaningful specially when 83%-17% - but this was never going to be a game where we dominated possession.

As with most on here I have this poster muted (sorry that you don't have that same possibility, Clive) so don't know exactly what they said, but can infer from your response.

The reason I - and I'm sure a lot of other posters on here - haven't offered our help to you writing match reports is that a) you really do need to be there to get a feel for the match and atmosphere (and I'm abroad for most matches watching on the official stream and venting on here) and b) it's bloody tough to throw together a coherent and interesting report in true LFW style, especially with such a tight turnaround and fitting it around your own private life. Hats off to you and your crew of fantastic substitutes, including this latest outing
