Sources across the pond have indicated to WalesOnline that American property tycoon Tyler Morse could well be among them.
Morse, the founder of MCR Hotels, already holds a small shareholding in the club, and his stake is set to be increased as part of the new takeover. The exact value of his potential share isn't yet known, but one source has told WalesOnline that he is expected to take a more hands-on role, and could even be handed a position on the board of directors.
The hotelier recently made headlines for striking a £275m deal to buy the BT Tower in London, which he plans to turn into an 'iconic hotel'. His current portfolio consists around 150 hotels around the world, an estimated worth of £3.9 billion.

If this new group are going to push the club forward as it seems its excellent news, get the team right move forward on the field grow the clubs income and we can improve the quality of the players then and keep within FFP rules then, unless things change on that score.

Right from the start mate we pretty much stated Steve Cooper was off the day after the play off final. We broke Piroe three weeks before he was even heard of. Fisher in December before he signed in January. Downes from Ipswich as a a part of the RM deal.Hannes Wolf days before he was even known by then manager Russell Martin, he asked me how the hell did we know, Matt O’Riley, the list is endless.
But people must make their minds up themselves. The main problem is social media and those who want a few words that they can add insults to. They have their special little people on Twitter especially, all have blocked us, so they can witter on in perceived safety.
Couldn’t care what people think, when someone really goes for it we manage them appropriately and that’s been a shock for some. Couldn’t be bothered mate. Our readership are mostly not on social media or who don’t trust the idiots on there. Those that are keep quiet about it and never support us via their accounts. It’s mainly we defend ourselves when needs must and those who are trying to get more followers on the back of our success.
We have enough to do and work on. 🔴 However, if anyone has a twitter account, insta or FB get the links on your own social media, we rarely see it if at all. It would be very welcome.

You just can’t spend money in football that way anymore due to FFP and P and S rules. The guys involved have very deep pockets but you can only spend what the rules allow, id expect us to see a significant increase in our commercial revenues and some very creative ways to bring income in.

I will reiterate that perhaps the best thing that they can do if they want to spend is upgrade the Academy again. That will enable us to exploit clubs who aren't at the top level and protect ourselves against the predators. | |
