I don’t see why Dunne ‘isn’t a right back’. He’s had enough good games there and the other options aren’t exactly enthralling.
Varane is back (meh) but Madsen surely has to be dropped. The last two games in particular have been abysmal. Not writing him off but I think it would do him and the team good for now so Varane or the boy Morgan even but realistically Varane.
Obviously Fox was horrendous but he’s the sort of character who would want to play immediately and bounce back I at least like to think. Paal was woeful too so I’m not averse to going back to the back four of centre-halves.
Ultimately though unless we have a midfield we have little chance. Bear in mind Coventry are crap and their fans are turning on Robins a bit. | | | |

I'm bringing a Coventry supporting mate from work. Seemed a great idea when we planned it a few weeks ago. Absolutely dreading it. The only good thing is I have zero expectations. You never know, we might just get very lucky in this game, but I just can't see this team being good enough to build and sustain any kind of lead and then be strong enough to defend it. Any side in this division quickly understands that they can slice through our midfield like butter.
Anytime we do go a goal up we then seem to immediately crumble.

Madsen can't be anywhere near that starting XI, I'd even drop Celar from the subs bench. He has zero impact whatsoever.
EDB is a wildcard for sure, I'd even consider Morgan or whatever youngster we have who can just run around and put a foot in. We need energy, legs and enthusiasm. EDB may not give that but he is better than the alternative. I wouldn't dare play 2 midfielders such as varane and field. Coventry will out work us in the middle.
Then just pray when Marti makes his subs like he has recently, we don't lose all resemblence of a professional football team, because our subs this season so far have basically removed any chance we have to win a football match. | | | |
