Went to Preseli Butlins with Mrs and some of her family, felt like I was on an Island with no way of getting off, stuck it until the Wednesday and escaped from the camp and caught a bus into Carnarvon went to the Castle had some food did a couple of pubs etc, best day of the whole week, went back to the camp, but felt bit better.
So being stuck on a Ship would be my worse nightmare. |

Interesting write up on the Spanish team on the Beeb website. I particularly liked this bit:
"Gone is the close-passing, possession-obsessed "tiki-taka" play which brought Spain so much success in the past. Instead, Spain is playing more directly, with two of its emerging stars, Williams and Yamal, wreaking havoc down the wings"
They've been by far the best team to watch in this tournament precisely because of this.
In it's earliest incarnations, "tiki taka" was about ball retention, but ball retention with a purpose. Somehow along the way that has been mutated into the mostly tedious style that we've seen so much of in this tournament and here for the last four years.
It'll be a victory for the sport if a team can win playing in a way all the stats obsessed, modern theorists abhor. England under Southgate are a model for the current methods. This is a contest for the soul of the game.
