I can’t remember the thread, but it contained a photo of a pub garden, I think somewhere in west/south west London that had a beer garden that led down to a Thameside beach. My sons are out that way today and are looking for something similar.
Cheers y’all.
Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I can recommend both of these pubs. I used to incude the Swan in a Richmond pub crawl the last leg of which was the ferry across the river from Ham House to the alighting point just along from the Swan. The Apprentice is steeped in history, and although a Greene King pub has a good range of beer and decent scran. As stated both have lovely views of the river.

Not forgetting the ancient and historic Dove at Hammersmith that has views of old Father Thames and the sad sight of Hammersmith bridge, closed to traffic for years. A short walk to the East and we have the Rutland and the Blue Anchor which feature in the TV programme New Tricks.
