10 teams conceded more than they scored last season and stayed up, including us, but I’m being pedantic.

I LOVE a pedantic fact or two as regular readers will know!

This graph is scarily similar to the Covid vaccine one.

You could make a hell of a venn diagram out of Brexit in or out/Warburton in or out/vaccine in or out.

I’ve often wondered about this and wouldn’t be surprised if asking people whether they are generally happy in life would result in the same graph.

Three more have joined you. The party of two is now one of five. It will probably continue to grow if we don't get results.

I remain in the undecided camp. However lose the next four games and I will have to join your group as there isn't anyway that we can justify a new contract. We can't carry on the rest of the season with a manager that is leaving. If we drop into the bottom three the players will need a change (shock) to try and get a reaction out of them.

I'd keep him for another few years. Think he is a good fit for the club atm.

Can't think of any realistic candidate who is an obvious better option. We can always try look outside the country but hardly guarantees success.

If we had Eze, Hugill and Wells this year, we could really go for it but think we are generally doing OK as it is.

I agree with this. In the last 40 odd years the only time I can think where we changed a manager for the better was Terry Venables, Gerry Francis (first time) and Neil Warnock and even two of those ultimately ended in tears. Every season we say we must control our expectations, we must, by necessity, control our spending and buy young players for development. Then, after a couple of poor performances loads on here are calling for the manager's head and so the process starts again from square one. Give him two more years, to sack him now would be madness.

For those who say the coaching team do no coaching, have a listen to MW on the offy.

They watch the game played 3 times, then show the relevant bits to the the players as a group, then take each 'unit' - defence, midfield and attack, I suppose, and go through videos of their counterparts at Huddersfield.

It doesn't seem to be working - perhaps they should add subtitles.

Even the change to Gerry first time around is questionable (in that was it the change that pushed us on or would Done Howe, who was doing a very good job at the time, also have pushed us on in similar fashion had he not been removed (due to his age wasn't it stated at the time?))

Hmmmmm yes, if that was a team as well prepared as claimed then I would hate to see one under prepared!

I DO want to change my response to the original question though............. its Millwall away!

All of my lot to a man want a change now... but nobody can agree on who the next manager should be.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.
