Failing Grayling was called out by an ex chief constable reviewing the papers on BBC Breakfast this morning with reference to this story.
Another completely incompetent Tory driving their austerity program forward.

Any sensible person would see you can’t cut the prison, police and probation service budgets and not expect some kind of impact. I read the other day that between the police and probation service something like 38,000 posts had been lost.
At a time when crime is increasing, the authorities are catching more deviants, there’s more radical islamist extremists being caught and sentenced to longer periods inside, prison numbers are close to capacity something has to give. Grayling hived off part of the probation services in to the private sector and retained the probation service to deal with the real baddies with disastrous consequences, the baddies are committing serious offences and the privatised companies are costing us a fortune and being brought back under public control. He's had 33 life sentences with a minimum of 30 years.

A colossal and horrendous screw up from those that should be protecting the public from evil, sick bastards like him. That’s all I can say. Sickening and devastatingly sad. Very much doubt this vile creature will ever be released.
