No loans coming in? 14:04 - Aug 30 with 35343 views | Swansea93 | Potters press conference l I counted today that our squad is about 27 or 28 players so from a numbers perspective I think we are okay. Injuries can affect you at any level and make starting XI different. I don’t see it is as light as you think. We will need a bit of luck we are okay numbers wise If no-one else comes in, is it finances or football? “It’s a bit of both, I would count around 27 or 28 players who have indicated they want to be here. That’s a lot of players and I have to take them down to 11 and there will be guys who will still be disappointed not to make the 18. I had a player in Sweden where I had a young player who was in Fourth Division in Sweden and went on to play against Arsenal in Europa League. It’s about development.” [Post edited 30 Aug 2018 14:12]

No loans coming in? on 19:24 - Aug 31 with 2188 views | Smellyplumz | Look at the end of the day the club has gone, we've had our day in the sun and it's over... Don't expect anything from it now and you won't be disappointed. Simple really, not nice but it is what it is.

""Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make." | Poll: | Huw Jenkins |

I hope they stay, and dont end up free agents, we may need them.

Can't see the club releasing them, however... If they are all on 25k a week. That's 300k a month. Even until the end of December that's a saving on salaries for 3 players of 1.4 million. Would they release them? Its a fair point especially if the player agrees to go as a free agent knowing they can secure a decent signing on fee at another club. Its happened before. Not saying it will, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

No loans coming in? on 19:39 - Aug 30 by londonlisa2001 | Last info I’ve seen is for June so before most transfer movements and before forecast for next season had been done. Not seen anything more recent. Which is why I can only comment on what I’ve seen and I’m not prepared to speculate or extrapolate about anything subsequent to that. However much people don’t like it. |
Its a bit odd and worrying that the Trust has not yet seen Financial Plans and Forecasts for 2018/19. The Trust must surely be proactive in the Planning and Forecasting process. Baffling that the Trust only has access to historical management accounts Can you please let us know whether the Trust (and its Financial affiliate) is actively engaged in financial Forecasting and Planning ?

Agreed. Worrying indeed. Having said that this mediation process seems to be dragging on and preventing communication. Hopefully things will start moving soon.

Indeed, lets hope so. Regardless of mediation etc, the Supporters Director and the finance affiliate should be actively contributing to the Planning process. From the response so far it appears not

Believe i can answer that for you: of course not. The Trust aren't involved in the management of the club. They are shareholders and have a seat on the board of directors, but all that really does is rubber stamp management decisions. They also receive management reporting, but that is for information and not a basis for consultation. Standard stuff for a minority shareholder in a company where another has a controlling stake.

They could become free agents but they wouldn't be able to sign for anyone else, unless you're talking about the likes of the Welsh League where there isn't a transfer window. Perhaps they could sign for Pontardawe.

Lisa mentioned yesterday that she had not seen any accounts since June but mentioned that if there was any asset stripping going on it would be very easy to spot. So therefore they do get access to the accounts don't they.

Thanks for sharing your views. Official site shows Board of Directors as SK/JL 68%; SCSC Ltd 21.1%. A board director with a seat representing such shareholding will be proactively engaged in decisions. As a minimum : - Strategy development, revision - Plans and budgets - Ongoing tracking and Forecasts

No loans coming in? on 01:31 - Sep 1 with 1501 views | dameedna | Bony Narsingh Routledge Dyer Naughton Olsson Carroll Fer VDH Montero All potential leavers between now and January to any club that has an injury gap in the EPL. The ones not playing now I hazard a guess will be released to save wages. That way we may pick up a free agent or plan for a later signing or loan in January.

9 or 10 of those are unproven kids. 4 or 5 will be gone as soon as someone wants them. 3 are constantly berated on this site for not being good enough. I really wish I could share your confidence. [Post edited 1 Sep 2018 7:59]

Last year.. you stated that our squad were more than good enough for mid table in the PL.. Now a year on.. You're saying our squad is more than good enough for a mid table finish in the Championship, and you're content with it. What's your angle in all this.. it's a weird stance.. almost troll material.

If that’s true why aren’t the Trust team shouting from the rooftops? They can’t have any control or influence if the haven’t seen accounts during such a critical period.
