I counted today that our squad is about 27 or 28 players so from a numbers perspective I think we are okay. Injuries can affect you at any level and make starting XI different. I don’t see it is as light as you think. We will need a bit of luck we are okay numbers wise

That's 300k a month.
Even until the end of December that's a saving on salaries for 3 players of 1.4 million.
Would they release them?
Its a fair point especially if the player agrees to go as a free agent knowing they can secure a decent signing on fee at another club. Its happened before.

Last info I’ve seen is for June so before most transfer movements and before forecast for next season had been done. Not seen anything more recent.
Which is why I can only comment on what I’ve seen and I’m not prepared to speculate or extrapolate about anything subsequent to that. However much people don’t like it. |

The Trust aren't involved in the management of the club.
They are shareholders and have a seat on the board of directors, but all that really does is rubber stamp management decisions.
They also receive management reporting, but that is for information and not a basis for consultation.
Standard stuff for a minority shareholder in a company where another has a controlling stake. |  |

Lisa mentioned yesterday that she had not seen any accounts since June but mentioned that if there was any asset stripping going on it would be very easy to spot.
So therefore they do get access to the accounts don't they. | |
