Yes - it was where he used to meet up with his Evening Post colleagues and arty chums, Vernon Watkins, Dan Jones and others.
However, Thomas was dead by the time the current Kardomah was built.
The original Kardomah was on the High Street, I think, and was demolished in the 3 night Luftwaffe Blitz of 1941, along with most of the Swansea DT loved.
Viewing the destruction after the event he said, with tears in his eyes, "My Swansea is dead".
He would, with great justification, hate what replaced it ie. Whitewalls, Kingsway, Belle Vue etc. |  | | |

Original Kardomah was in Castle Street, on the same side as and not far from where the old Burton's shop used to be
