Bielsa on his way... 00:21 - Dec 20 with 19080 viewsUplandsJack

So here goes...
Been out tonight and have been told he will be confirmed as our new boss tomorrow or Monday at the latest.
This update was given by same source who told me to bet my mortgage (which i regrettably didnt) on Monk taking over as caretaker before Laudrup had even been sacked.
Fingers crossed this is true Well I bloody hope so anyway.... As after results this weekend we really need this sorted....

Where does Uplands start and Brynmill finish?

Panytgwydr church, is the end of Brynmill going that way,

Three quarters up Bernard street, where McPhersons shop used to be (now curtains or something) is the border that way.

The end of the orchards (now parc beck) is the end the Sketty side

Moonlight stores (now a restaurant..truffles?) is the Bryn-y-mor border.

The beach the other way.

I hope you have enjoyed my comprehensive guide to the borders of Brynmill. I know this post alone has probably made me a shock outsider for poster of the year

When Guardiola quit Barcelona and Bielsa was linked with the job at Nou Camp, Messi and Mascherano apparently told the Barca board that they would leave Barcelona if Bielsa was appointed. They did not like him when he was in charge of Argentina.

I lived in very numerous abodes in the Brynmill Uplands area and the only one which was never sure of was the one on Bernard Street.

We are hoping to move back in the Summer but more Sketty area but the Tav will be back on my list of haunts.

I'll worry about that when we're about to tempt Messi to Landore.

We are hoping to move to Sketty or Cockett next year too. Brynmill is not a nice place to live in parts these days due to the massive amounts of HMO's making the area into transient community, mainly populated by students who treat the area and neighbours badly.

I want to live in the Uplands/Brynmill area at some point soon.Worked up there a lot and loved the place. The shops, bars, restaurants are everything you want.Great for the ladies too and when the students are in town then it really gets a bit tasty.

Brynmill was truly a lovely place.

Are not you dissing Swansea?

On a serious note regarding Messi, he's not the poster boy and model pro that everyone paints him out to be, if Graham Hunter and Guillem Ballague are to be believed.

Rich,
Brynmill was a truly lovely place, but as DDCH has pointed out, it is full of HMO's thanks to the student market. Many of them are now empty so he is not dissing Swansea just saying what is happening in Brynmill I had a look around at what was available there and just got more and more disappointed looking at the area. To be honest, it is looking like Derwen Fawr just because there is a bit more space and it is easy to get to the nightlife in Uplands and shops in sketty.

Just me jase being drawn into this prosper induced puerile slagging match.

I did myself live for a short time in St Albans rd and regularly went to the Rhys.

I know exactly what it's like.

Best wishes btw.

Always welcome here next time you fly from Liverpool. We do a very reasonable airport run

Lol...thanks!
I hope this does happen as informed or I'm sure I'm going to get some stick from some on here,.... Mulled it over for about an hour but after reading the negativity from some on anether thread just had to put it out there...

I wouldn't worry about getting stick on here if it doesn't come off, at the end of the day it's a fans forum and rumour and gossip is a part of it, i have no reason to doubt what you say, and like most people, you share what you hear because you're a fan of the Swans and would like others to hear it too.

Funny you mentioned the Monk care taker bit as i mentioned that on here and got abused as an attention seeker and bullsh1tr as well as getting PM messages asking me for my source of info, like somebody was trying to plug a leak!

Strange how none of those same people had the grace to hold their hands up and apologize when a few days later the truth was revealed!

People hear things,Swansea is a small place and fans move in all kinds of cirlces, so print it if you got it i say .

Wasn't Brendan around 5th or 6th choice when he was appointed? That didn't work out too badly did it.

I hope to f u c k the board haven't been too interested in polishing their wares rather than concentrating on keeping us up.
