Personally speaking, I do think he is a better striker than Will was for us. Certainly quicker. Less wasteful with good chances and nearly as good in defence.
If we could get Will back, I think I'd still have Bafe starting. Although the 2 of them playing at the same time, would IMHO decimate the opposition defence, especially with Andre, Siggy and Jeff flying. Although it'll mean changing our shape (again!!) Shape changing worked ok for the 5 mins it took cheesestrings to realise he was up against a better manager and team

Some of his hold-up play recently is reminiscent of Wilf - early on, he used to go to ground too easily but is really using his strength and skill now to bring others into the game. His finishing has got better too and his goal against Sunderland was really top drawer. No headed goals yet but really unlucky not to have got one against Chelsea (when Ayew scored) and Sunderland.

Looking a pretty complete player these days.
Offers far more than Wilfred did in terms of athleticism and general all round movement. Finishing top notch, looks like he's confident about scoring in every single game he plays . 38 for this season maybe not. Golden boot? Why not?

Emness I'm afraid has shown the limits of his abilities. Nowhere near this level in a player that Gomis is producing now. Though I'll always luv Marv for his winner up there
