Not paying too much attention to this performance. They focused on our left side and effectively blocked that up. Gee we just can't win up north...

lets see how we go next week. Early test that will be better marker for where we are at.

Pretty average performance, some promising signs but lack of threat in final third concerning. There were some good examples of progressive passing from the back - a major weakness last season - the central defence looked strong and did well to restrict Blackburn opportunities. Dickie isn't that good a ball player and although his stepping out created space for others in midfield be is always at risk of being caught in possession, unless others make themselves available quickly.

I thought both full backs were poor going forward and Paal was disappointing. I liked the look of Richards when he came on.

Also difficult to assess this game until we are clearer about how good Rovers are. I think they are a pretty decent team so a 1-0 defeat, when we did have chances may not be that bad.
