EGM Share Motions Passed Thursday, 7th Mar 2024 22:30 by Chaff The EGM where shareholders were asked to vote on motions that would change the ownership model at the club has concluded and the motions have passed. This now allows 9,000,000 A shares have been made available for £2million in a desperate bid to attract new 90% ownership of Rochdale Football Club. Not all the votes had been counted but the threshold of 75% had already been reached on motions 1-4 relating to the ownership and the 50% threshold passing a motion where accounts would no longer be audited was also met. A letter of intent from World Soccer Holdings (WSH) was issued last week prior to the Fans Forum and tonight's vote gives a green light. We could potentially see further letters of intent from other interested parties but this is a big step forward in allowing an investor to come in and purchase the club to save the club from the threat of liquidation. https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2024/march/egmresolutionspassed_070324/ Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
