Once that Alfie Lloyd goal went in they probably thought there’s no harm in closing the vote - it’s a shoe-in |

If Marti leaves that will be a catastrophic failure by Nourry as CEO for me. Best manager we’ve had in a hell of a long time |

Mad Sen’s Road road to redemption continues - another good half from him I really hope that’s not the end of Koki at Rangers, been a wonderful signing |
 | Forum Reply | Jimmy Dunne Will he stay or will he go at 00:02 17 Apr 2025
Sadly I think he’ll be off but with all our blessings. Him, Chair, Cook and Field can hold their heads up and say they kept QPR as a Championship club in the most trying of times. Dunne has been immense the last two seasons, we should I and I hope we are trying to keep him but I reckon any Championship club will be eyeing him up. Wins almost every header he goes for in any box - that is something every team wants |

Enjoyable game to watch with the pressure off for us, we looked quality for the first 20 minutes. The Asian munchkins and Madsen were playing some lovely stuff. Ronnie Edwards was absolute class, he’s going to go far. Sat at the back and controlled the game, and him and Morrison were actually finding advanced midfielders with their passing. Who knew. Nice that we’re ending the season like this with basically a reserve team. I hope Marti stays as one day one of his teams is going to click |

Well, I don’t want to get too excited, but fair play to our Danish Pirlo. I kind of saw the point of him today |

Given Field, Paal and Smyth could all be out as well God knows what Dad’s Army ragtag rabble are going to be playing today… We must be close to missing an entire first team now Is the Crown and Sceptre still shut? |

Marti needs to reinvent himself as a high effort, channel ball, play the percentages manager. He’s good at it. When we go into games looking to outwork and outfight the opposition we look so much better I would even say I saw the point of Nicholas Madsen in that first half. And fair play to Bennie who has been elevated several levels out of his comfort zone but is not looking totally out of place |
 | Forum Reply | Well that was bloody awful! at 22:12 5 Apr 2025
I dunno if the sun and the general end of winter has left me feeling too happy but I didn’t think it was that bad It’s an injury ravaged team missing pretty much all of its best players that wasn’t that great a team in the first place. To say it’s one of our worst ever performances doesn’t even go back one week, we were way worse against Stoke. I can’t fault their effort, once that’s in question it’s a different story, but today looked like a semi reserve team trying hard. [Post edited 5 Apr 22:13]

It had nil nil written all over it from early on but I can take some positives from it - we joined the battle and looked as up for it as this limited squad can get (in the first half), Alfie Lloyd proved playing someone with physical presence at centre forward is crucial and even Bennie showed something, Smyth had a great first half, Colback and the defence played well. Paal was excellent, credit where it’s due Still it’s small pickings, this team has been decimated by injuries and not sure what else Marti can do but try and limp us home. The squad just isnt big enough to cope with losing all its experienced players and all its forwards at the same time. Varane had an absolute nightmare and set them up for attacks four or five times by giving it away Cardiff looked shite and wouldn’t be surprised if they go down. Any team in form would have romped that game [Post edited 5 Apr 18:13]

He looked brilliant when he first joined, got badly injured and is working his way back to fitness playing minutes here and there in a series of random positions in a team badly out of form. Give the kid a break for fks sake |
 | Forum Reply | Games left- So simple at 18:36 1 Apr 2025
Oxford were comfortably the worst team I've seen this season at our place, but then that Stoke game we were just as bad. It's fairly simple, if we can't get enough points from these games to stay up then it's fully deserved. Having Frey fit is going to define our season IMO. Pray for the big lad |

I was happy to swallow the sports science stuff last season when we went through the whole thing with a mostly fit squad. This season before every game two of our players have got injured midweek or “before travelling” and are out for a month. Whoever is in charge of squad fitness this year has not covered themselves in glory - appreciate there’s a lot of luck involved but that team out there was missing a healthy amount of potential starters and boy it really showed. |

One of my greatest celebrity encounters was being in a lift in a hotel in LA and George Foreman got in. I’d had a few and involuntarily said to my mate “George F-kin Foreman!” He was a total gentleman. His first response was “now you’re not going to ask me for a grill are you?” |
 | Forum Reply | So player of the season? at 23:22 20 Mar 2025
Surely Jimmy Dunne by miles. Honourable mentions to Smyth and Nardi. Nobody else has stayed fit for long enough. A weird season once again |
 | Forum Reply | Sinclair Armstrong at 20:58 18 Mar 2025
While we did a great deal getting 2m for Sinclair, right now I’d take Sinclair Armstrong and another 1m forward over Celar. Really hope he doesn’t get any abuse in the home game, he tried his eccentric bollox off for us and earned us money. Despite his obvious limitations one of the most exciting players we’ve had in a while |

I saw Paul Parker yesterday as well in the Ellerslie Road concourse - a day for returning legends |
