Without Frankie Knuckles playing at the Warehouse in Chicago in mid '80s and his mixes that followed, house music wouldn't have such a positive impact for so many over here that it did. RIP Legend
A celebratory Play off final after party sounds great though tricky for me as I'd prob have my 7 yr old boy with me..
I hope linking this works. This Knuckles mix of "Ain't Nobody" Hallucinogenic version by Rufus & Chaka Khan is one of my fave mixes of his
115.4 miles for me from Bristol. Not a ST holder this season but was the last 3 or 4 years(more midweek games in Championship so can't off work enough to make it worthwhile).7 home games so far this season plus Exeter,Yeovil & Reading away..next up Charlton
Slightly off topic..I'm off to Colombia in a couple of days to meet girlfriend's family. Will be first in Baranquilla where I may catch a game at the national stadium while I'm there, then will be in Bogota on the way back. Any tips where to watch english games ColombiR?
i know a few old mates going to this tonight. It will be an amazing night for sure. Tried to get tickets in the 1st round but they we're released online during work hours, next round the site couldn't cope so missed out. So they're doing a Sunday night Shoom25 at Cable too due to high demand with similar line up Rampling,Farley & Heller,Derrick May. Got a ticket for this so coming up from Bristol in the morning, meeting an old mate and gonna get lost in music to take thoughts off our winless streak. Should be fun
Used to go to Shoom,Spectrum & sunday afternoons at Phil Perry's do at Queen's,Colnbrook reservoir around 88/89 amongst other parties/raves..heady days they were..
I thought some of that Boys Own crowd like Farley etc were chelski but a lot of fans forgot their rivalries for a while back in those days.
Totally agree. Whoever makes the next kit, the hoops have to be back to being thicker again. And red / black away colours preferably dennis the menace. Would tweeting uncle Tone help with this? Looking at ManCity's away kit tonight, umbro would be my choice. We've had adidas before they're too associated with chelscum now
what southampton are doing to their kits on return to the PL is nuts ! even madder than a club making blue & white hoops even thinner than last season..
