We've lost to the team unbeaten at the top of the league and a premier league team. In both those games we fielded a very weakened team, the first because new signings hadn't come, the second by choice and through injury.
We're not playing brilliantly, but 'on their arses' is absolute bullsh1t.
EDIT: I am a pr!ck.

I agree.
But also, and sorry if this offends people, sometimes I just want to go and watch some effing football at an effing football ground and not waste time and energy worrying about the billion things that go into running a club.
Some people do care about that, deeply. For some people it's the number one thing in their life. And that's fine - the club needs those people. But don't have too much of a go at people that maybe can't be bothered with all that crap and just like going to the football.
Equally, if you think you'll get transparency and accountability from a fans forum you've not been paying much attention over the years. |

well we have a game the next day, maybe he's busy night before games? but then it's poor scheduling

pretty astounded by some of the lack of patience on here.
people do remember we were 2 games from relegation a few months ago, yeah? and it's almost a brand new team, yeah?

lackadaisical is very harsh imo. lacking determination or enthusiasm? i'm not getting that, at all. Quite the opposite, considering we've come from behind in almost every game this season. |

Couldn’t make the game today but sounds like similar issues to the whole season. I’m not too worried though. We haven’t lost since the opening day and have shown character and work ethic in every match. Not clicking and a bit ponderous, but these things are a bit easier to improve. Its really a new team out there and we’ve been competitive in all games, against some difficult opposition, particularly away.
As Simmo said on the pod we need to recognise all this and trust the squad will develop. Varane has his best game by miles on tuesday. Frey has improved dramatically. We could do with some clean sheets but as Hunter says the spine is decent. It’ll be slow but I think we’ll see progress. |

With a bit of distance now, I think what got me was Field at CB with Dunne on the bench. I think had Field played midfield and Dunne at the back, with injuries we had the only disappointment was no Dembele from the start.
And actually, Field was really good and Varane was forced to take responsibility and had maybe his best game.
Would’ve liked Michi on for last 10 though. |

Thought the ref was fine, except for three or four occasions, for both teams, when there was a foul, but play moved on for the team in possession, and only then did he blow up when there was clearly no need.
Otherwise, decent performance. |

Apologies, lots of ways of reading that and I jumped to it being sarcy probably because I was annoyed at the team selection and saw it as him expecting that team to be thrashed. Could just as easily be him being sad he's not involved. |
