Sorry: I am on the minority side. I feel based on 3 games Ollie has given himself a set of games to experiment. Also he is either shopping Sandro or he is giving him a trial run. My biggest concern is coaching where even the gaffer admits he is NOT a coach. When people talk about players out of position, not following up play etc...where does that root lie? We need some clarity in our coaching staff, a staff which changes every Christmas. And we wonder why lack of confidence comes from. I would love to see Sandro and Luongo or Borysiuk settle. I think Furlong needs to own the RB spot. Shodipo needs to be out there too to provide width. This board was torching Matt Phillips last year, but now he is back in the prem, picking up MOTM and playing offense and defense. Even Fer has been a contributor at that level. I am happy with Ollie, but Ollie needs a team of coaches behind him. [Post edited 4 Dec 2016 15:48]

Worth 100million to us, based on evidence that he brings an amazing defense, aerial strength and even goals. QPR and no Caulker looked a lot different in midweek. Promotion is not looking far fetched. Watford, Leeds and now Cardiff not given a chance. [Post edited 14 Aug 2016 17:09]

Great read. - great win. Really solid. If this was 'average' I hope they get a lot of average 3-0 wins. - average? This was not even our best 11. In fact the Watford win was clinical with the Polish kid in midfield. Gladwin was the weakest link and I think that might have been last hoorah. - I was really impressed with the energy, it speaks to that difference we wanted to see. |

We cannot defend corners or crosses.....PERIOD. Other than Dawson who else is there? |

Cesar Dyer----Hill (& ?)-- Nelsen ---Fabio/Traore Mbia Derry/Diakite -- Faurlin Granero Mckie/Hoilet -- Taarbs/Cisse __________________________________ -In this line up I want Cisse come off the bench primarily. - Also Taarbs can drop into Granero's spot if necessary and Junior play on the flank to keep Mckie in the game. |

1. DEFENSE. Only Anton as a defensive option off the bench. Not good. Onuha, fabio should be there. Also I agree with most MBia was huge at RB today. BUT If I could I try Mbia as a sweeper in front of Hill and Nelsen as a 3rd CB with Dyer at RB if fit. Traore is simply short on fitness. 2. Traore's injury was a game changer. No doubt there. I have said all season long that not bringing Taiwo back was big. I hope Harry cosiders Danny Rose. 3. Offense: Without Zam and AJ there is no big man and now hold up play. So that game plan is out. The next thing then is to use the midfielders more. |

After reading through the link, my question id would he fit? The next question is can he coach? I think he can. Interesting to see this development as I think Harry vs RDM is a big gulf in terms of style. |

Conversely, the new guy gets a pass his first game. There is no expectations so a loss is really Hughes loss but the new guy gets a read on his players. If he wins at Man Utd (with this lot) he is an instant hit. frankly this is not last yrs QPR. We have a good core of players. Adel playing as he is, with Granny, played correctly and the defense organized could pull a shocker. |

Actually I think Derry is the Capt we miss in many ways. But I agree I am not sure Diakite was a negative. |

I think the Prem has changed too much for MH. Our squad is too good for this nonsense. We have better players than Soton, Reading, WHam, AVilla among others but MH cant utilize or motivate them. TF will act this week, sorry that it is 3 weeks too late. Coyle would have been better. Funny how well Pardew is doing at Newcastle when none would have thought it possible, ditto Big Sam at WHam. |

Puncheon, a guy not good enough for Hughes may be the one who ultimately gets in a last word... |

McKie for Hoilet. Let Hoilet be a super sub. |

TF is a a business man. But he loves this club and it shows. BTW: In almost a year how has MH done? |
| Forum Reply | MARK HUGHES at 13:22 11 Nov 2012
Mark Hughes: Man City sacking was vilified across all of Football. But after millions of $$$ spent the owners were not happy with underperforming Man City. Fullham: bust up with owners. Next Martin Jol comes in and Fulham are in Europe. QPR: ? |

'However, even worse than that was Ferdinand's half hearted attempt to win the initial header from the original cross.', .....Thus exposing the weakness EVERYONE in the EPL knows is QPR achilles heel. It happens every week...and every week last year. All you need is a decent cross a tall striker and then take advantage of the ensuing melee. |
