The beauty of this coming season is that we could easily finish anywhere between 1st & 24th. I honestly haven't got a bloody clue as to where we'll finish.
We could storm the league, or we could do a Wolves. It's going to be a bumpy ride.
If we're top 6 at the end of September, I think we'll stay there for the duration. If we're struggling near the bottom, it'll be hard to get out of there.
Even though we're not the biggest team in the division, all the other teams will want to beat us more because of all the bollocks in the papers about "moneybags QPR".

Gidday. Virgin poster here. Like most Kiwis i played rugby all my life and thought "soccer" was for homos. Saw my first ever football match 1995. Mid-week game v tottenham and a flatmate dragged me along to Loftus Road. Thought it would be shit but oh well something to tick off the list on my O.E.
We lucked in and got seats so close I could almost touch the South Africa road/Loft corner flag. The noise, singing, atmosphere was like nothing I'd ever heard at a rugby match, proper hair on the back of the neck stuff for me. (Think i almost got a wee chubby on)
Very early in the piece a couple of theirs that had snuck into the Lower loft expressed their pleasure at something or other Spurs did and were given their pedigree in no uncertain terms and a couple of slaps for good measure. One irate R, bless 'im, had to get out of his seat and march several rows to hang one on these dickheads. I'm like.. "phuck me this is mental!"
Best of all was the cops saw it all and realising what a pair of spankers these two were, took their time strollin down to sort it out. The rangers fans got a tut tut and the Spurs supporters got tossed out. Brilliant. That was me sold!! been a QPR fan ever since. We blew a 2 nil lead and lost 3-2 that night so i can't say the footballing gods didn't warn me against following the Hoops but something told me this was the team for me.
I've been back in NZ for 10 years now. Spent 7 years in London, loved it, and yeah the last couple of seasons have been torturous at times BUT those of you who can go to Loftus Road are LUCKY!!!!. I would give my left one for just one more sat lunchtime session and a charge up at the Bushranger before headin off to sing me heart out in R block. i miss it. Sometimes when I'm really pissed i let out a hopeful "C'mon you super hooops.. ..then i stand there like the last moose on earth waiting for a reply to his forlorn mating call.... but the "sahhhhhhhh" never comes.
Enough moanin about this and that already. Chris'sakes season hasn't kicked off yet fella's, and fellesses. Get behind the boys, whoever they are, if they're wearin hoops they're ours. (Boswanka and Barton excluded)
This season we will finish........ at Barnsley on Sat 3rd of May (badoom shish!)
