That depends a bit doesn't it? If we were to win say 5 from the next 7 or 8 games then throwing away games for the sake of attacking might suddenly seem daft again.

Samba, Townsend and Jenas all made promising debuts, which was encouraging for the immediate future. The results of the teams around us didn't help.
But, the killer is the goals for column. 18 from 25 games is nowhere near good enough. We need a minimum of 6 wins and I cannot see anybody scoring the goals to do that. |  |

If we lose the next 6 and win the last 7 we will probably stay up.
The bets are against us but don´t we fight to stay up, instead of just giving up now.
I understand that some people prefer to give up and accept, so they can get over any potential disappointment, I personally would prefer to only give up when it is mathematically impossible. |  |

You might well be right.......... but we're not down until we're down. According to a lot of people last season we were "down" right up until we came back and beat Liverpool 3-2.
Football's a funny old game as they say. Relegation might be probable, but it's not certain until it's mathematically certain. ATAF....... and the only fact that matters. | |
