He hasn’t been found guilty of rape and sexual assault either.

Nor was there any truth behind the claim "Trump defrauded banks out of millions."

He has always paid back every bank in full, which is why the banks said they would love to let him borrow money again and even tried to testify in his defense (but were denied the opportunity).

Literally everything negative said about Trump in this thread is nothing close to reality.

EDIT - after the reply below, I must qualify that the sentence beginning with "literally" does not necessarily include the negative things said about his looks, voice, or personality. I simply don't care about crap like that, especially at a time when so much is at stake.

When you set eyes on the perma tanned ,over whitened gnashers and bellicose gob ,what do you feel?
Do you feel lucky?
Set aside Biden.
How does it feel to have a proven narcissist in the running to be president again.

A guy that admires Pootin

Admires Putin? Based on what?

And if he admires Putin so much, then why did he implement the sanctions that directly prevented Russia from completing the Nord Stream pipeline while he was in office?

Sanctions that were immediately overturned by Biden, by the way. Which quite likely explains what the $6 million bribe from the mayor of Moscow's wife (who has close ties to Putin) was for.

Putin is about the last person (outside of China or Iran) who wants to see Biden leave the White House next January.

If that's the impeachment you are talking about, then why did you bring up Russia?

Russia had nothing to do with that, Einstein.

Biden came out and bragged that he withheld a billion dollars from Ukraine unless they fire the prosecutor who was investigating the corrupt energy company that was paying the Biden family millions in bribes. And Trump was just doing his job by looking into it.

And claiming that Trump "blocked aide" from Ukraine for even
one second is a lie, too. Trump blew that lie away when he released the transcript of the call.

So...what else do you have?

Is that why he was fine half a billion dollars? Because they all loved him so much?
It's worrying how many people parrot what he says.
Even if he paid them back at the favourable interest rate that was obtained based on fake valuations, its still fraud.

"Fraud" - as determined by a New York prosecutor who wants you to believe Mar A Lago is worth only $18 million. Even though much smaller vacant parcels nearby are worth five times that.

Sorry to see people ignorantly fall for this nonsense. It'll take the SCOTUS about 5 seconds to overturn it, in any case.

That is another of the major problems in America. The judicial system has been politicised.
How can you have a democracy when the Supreme Court is selected by a political party and then can't be changed??
No government should be above the law and the law should be disconnected from politics.
You can't have a President who can do as he pleases because he controls the legal system and be a Democratic society.
America is one of the least Democratic countries in the world.

More democratic than the uk by a wide margin.
We even have a blydi monarch who costs a fortune.

the UK has the only parliament with reserved places for clerics – aside from Iran.

House of Lords still has 92 hereditory peers including 4 dukes, 25 earls, 15 viscounts, 45 barons and 2 Lords of Parliament.
Until as recently as 1999 there were several hundred.

Our PM was not elected by the public to be PM, our Foreign Secretary is not even an MP.

We have the Met Police unable to investigate Partygate, unable to stop Russian interference in our elections, and various reports held for 30 or 40 years to avoid the public knowing stuff.

Welsh representation at Westminister reduced before our eyes.

I will change my mind when Johnson faces charges, like Trump.

Not at all comparable.

Jean Carroll couldn't even prove she ever met Trump. She couldn't remember when the assault even happened, but the timeline that she narrowed it down to proved she was lying because the dress she claimed to be wearing didn't even exist yet.

She was also a huge fan of the Apprentice and didn't ever mention something that allegedly happened in the 1990's until she suddenly came up with a story taken directly from a plot line of the American TV show Law & Order.

Her lies had more holes in them than Blackburn, Lancashire. But she and her lawyers knew that you could convict Trump of murdering Jesus Christ if you got it in front of the right jury, so she got her pay day.

There’s a picture in existence of Trump and his then wife with Carroll snd her then husband at an NBC party back in the 1980’s.
There are also reports Trump confused Carroll got his ex wife Marla Maples.

The jury certainly believed Carroll snd gounf him guilty of sexual assault.

There is a very good reason Mar A Lago was valued at 18 million, it was because there are conditions in the deeds that meant it couldn't be redeveloped and sold for residential use.

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2023/oct/06/facebook-posts/new-york-offici

https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-mar-lago-valuation-backfired-spectacularly

Now you can call people ignorant all you like but blind belief in someone like Trump is dangerous. We had similar over here with some recent politicians, and we still do to some extent although people aresartingbto wake up.

Trump made fraudulent claims about the value of that property to get more favourable interest rates, even if you quadruple the valuers assessment it is still well below trump's claim.

He is losing $100,000+ a day on his New York fines.
He raises the money under the guise of his election campaign.
The only reason he stands is to pay his bills.
Nikki Haley is a far better candidate than Biden or Trump

Again, I don't waste time worrying about the tabloid tactics people with severe Trump Derangement Syndrome sink to when their attempts at a substantive argument all blow up in their faces.

When you have children all along the USA's open southern border being sold into slavery, things fall into perspective pretty easily.

Speaking of which, add to my earlier list of people who desperately don't want to see Trump return to the White House in January:

* The Chinese Communist Party
* Iran
* Putin
* Human Traffickers and Drug Cartel Leaders Getting Rich at the Open Southern Border

To my mind the thing that is really hurting Trump in Europe now is pulling the strings to block US military aid to Ukraine. That is a real deal-breaker even for Conservative politicians like Johnson - it won't be forgiven. You'll probably deny it, but there are videos circulating of some MAGA people openly siding with Russia over Ukraine. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been wittering on about Ukrainian Nazis. That stuff just won't wash on this side of the Atlantic. John Wayne would be threatening to shoot closet commies if he was still alive.

It’s not that simple. Over the last 8 years or so we’ve seen massive discord stirred up by the Russians all across the world in places like Africa, where the Wagner group have pillaged, plundered, raped and stolen across the entire continent. It’s also happening in Ukraine and the Middle East. In the Far East we have China bullying their neighbours and in parts of the middle east its Iran.

That's a fair argument, and no doubt while we a diverse group of free thinkers, some MAGA supporters will knee-jerk support a side simply because our adversaries support the other side.

Just not to the degree of Democrats, who only suddenly thought preventing illegal immigration was horrible and evil simply because it's one of Trump's top calling cards. Democrats like Bernie Sanders, who once was (as a true socialist) very vocal about how illegal immigration hurt lower-income Americans, before he had to suddenly forget he ever believed that because "Orange Man Bad."

Due to the corruption in Ukraine, it's hard for me to get too heavily behind either side, but I'm certainly not on Putin's. We've sent them over $200 billion now, and we need some auditing done as apparently much of it has ended up in some very deep, very corrupt pockets.

Putin cannot wait for his puppet Trump to get back in.
Russia lost over 400,000 men fighting in Ukraine against the weapons that Europe and the US were supplying.
The pro-Trump Republicans take control of the Senate and Ukraine runs out of weapons.
Ukraine are fighting a proxy war for the West. If Putin wins then it threatens to destabilise the whole of Europe and further.
Putins puppet is helping them along by blocking the support and the future of Europe is under threat.

Where's Ronald Reagan when needed. A President who's 2 terms in office at least ended the cold war .Currently we're heading in the opposite direction and I don't believe either Trump or Biden would be the ideal leader should it go belly up. What a sad indictment of US politics.

Hmm, some of the things Biden argued against, he ended up doing himself didn't he? Didn't he carry on building that "wall"?

The way I see it, the world is largely screwed because wherever you look the people in charge are greedy, self serving, cheating, lying, hypocrites.

The USa is just as screwed as anywhere and when you talk about corruption hasn't it long been the case that money is the only way anything gets done on Capitol hill?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-67458673

We have a similar thing in Westminster. If the truly guilty in our political system were locked u there'd be barely anybody left to run the country. apparently 43% of our MP's have riminal convictions.

Most of the money, allocated to help Ukraine, has been spent in the US.

Pennsylvania received US$2.364 billion from defence spendingt. Arizona US$2.259 billion. Texas and Arkansas received US$1.449 billion and US$1.478 billion, respectively, while Florida received US$1.011 billion.

https://www.defense.gov/News/News-Stories/Article/Article/3601120/ukraine-securi

https://www.politico.com/news/2023/11/29/biden-admin-map-states-benefit-ukraine-

From other monies some skimming through corruption may well have occurred. However, I would say that the degree for degradation of the Russian army, Black Sea fleet and military aviation that has occurred in return for a fraction of the total US defence budget is an almost unbelievable deal. Reagan would have been an ardent supporter. We need the Reagan conservatives to get their act together now.

Ok, here we go again. What has Trump ever done for Putin that makes you think he's his puppet?

I'm not going to rehash everything about the sanctions Trump placed on Russia (which - again - Biden immediately ended when he was installed as POTUS), but I'm curious if there's anything beyond pure ignorance that allows people to hold on to that fully debunked talking point.

Interacting with people who still believe Trump is Putin's puppet feels like I'm talking to grown adults who still believe in Santa Claus.
