I haven't followed it that closely but isn't the accusation that a presenter has paid someone to pose nude for them and I imagine a bit more. It's basically what people do on only fans every day. Unless he has forced someone to do this not sure how the police can get involved. | | | |

They were 17 when it began and the money paid (amounting to 35k over 3 years) was used to fund a crack cocaine addiction. I’m not sure if anything illegal has happened but it does sound like someone has been taken advantage of by someone who should know better. And it sounds like the bbc tried to bury it before the family went to The Sun.
As an aside they haven’t said “girl” anywhere. It’s always “youth” which makes you think it’s a bloke and the presenter is gay…I can think of one high profile gay presenter who does TV and radio who hasn’t come out publicly to say it isn’t him yet. |  | | |

I've seen clips recently of narrative-driven, under-researched, juvenile BBC interviewers failing badly while interviewing Musk, Tate and the Belarusian woman tennis player.
Such a shame, the BBC used to garner such respect. It does still has some stellar presenters (David Attenborough comes to mind immediately), but I'm starting to understand the calls to defund it (If not agree with them yet) which 5 years ago I wouldn't have given the time of day to. | | | |
