So many police on 23:11 - Nov 19 with 14885 views | ozranger | It was just as bad as with Millwall. No entry to Ellerslie Rd, bar from Loftus Rd prior to the match and police everywhere. There was some talk prior that the Met had heard that something may go on. So, I guess with nothing else to do on a Friday night, they chose to come out in numbers. Given I went via White City station, I don't know if anything happened on Uxbridge Rd after the game. I am wondering if it was closed off as it was for the Millwall game.
So many police on 23:29 - Nov 19 with 14719 views | paulhoop2 | Saw loads of Luton walking in with claret everywhere . Big kick off on the green also.

So many police on 23:36 - Nov 19 with 14629 views | hamptonhillhoop | Saw a bloke had been knocked unconscious on the Uxbridge Road by Loftus Road. Blood coming from his head. Had been put in the recovery position by a passer by. Don't know if he was Rangers or Luton. Was a bit unpleasant round there after the game as Rangers fans walking towards Acton were coming into contact with Luton fans turning left from Bloemfontein. police telling people to keep to the wall as they walked on the Hammersmith side of the road [Post edited 19 Nov 2021 23:37]

So many police on 23:39 - Nov 19 with 14586 views | 1MoreBrightonR | We tried to go down to Uxbridge road and there was some bottle throwing on the back streets and a young one bloody, but refusing help from QPR fans as he was a Luton fan, then we took another road to Uxbridge road which was also blocked off by the police.. Gave up and walked around to the new bar opposite white City.

So many police on 07:59 - Nov 20 with 13885 views | Dorse | This sort of thing is so fcuking nobby. Why can't these people just stop it? If they want a ruck, why not do MMA? It's basically the same thing, just without the bottles and at least they'd already be caged, saving the OB the bother.

A lot of police on Uxbridge Road and hold-ups getting onto Uxbridge Road BUT there would have been trouble and more fighting if they hadn't been there. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think it’s more than just having a ruck. There’s the mob mentality and the sense of ‘we took their territory’ (or at least tried). Its all so primeval.

But they always give it back. Makes you wonder if a kind of 'Territory Library' scheme might be worth exploring? Just book the territory you want to 'take', then rock up in your best Stone Island / Burberry combo and stand around like you own the place, saying rude words, before packing up and heading home, safe in the knowledge that you are double hard and a top boy. Dorse Industries with yet another winning idea.

You forgot 'generally give it large if there is a police presence and in a crowd at a safe distance so if any trouble starts then you are protected'
So many police on 12:30 - Nov 20 with 12921 views | themodfather | why are held in at Millwall for an hour sometimes? when it's a one way walk to station, fenced and nowhere home fans? so at qpr, police let all away fans straight out? so let them out, into a cordon and slowly escort up SAR , this lets home fans disperse and get ahead , by the time they get to white city, some may get central line and police can lead others to wood lane station for ham/city trains. health and safety works many ways . this goes on and on. fans may not be saints but police are poor with management of fans.

Blimey Sounds like the away game could be even worse then off the back of that, I already hate that sh*thole enough!
So many police on 14:11 - Nov 20 with 12353 views | baz_qpr | Got the impression that this was preorganised hence why the police presence so heavy. QPR saying on twitter that due to health and safety regs they can't hold back the visiting fans anymore. But the old bill were so off the pace last night they should have been a much heavier presence around LR / Ellerslie. Against Millwall they managed to create a situation where they marched the away fans down Uxbridge Road right at the moment all QPR fans were coming out from LR and Ellerslie and of course it happened. Putting this on a Friday night was madness a perfect night of Gack, booze and fighting for those that get off on the things. Really the club and authorities need to agree that games such as Millwall, Luton, Cardiff that we know are always going to kick off are played Sunday lunchtime to cut all the nonsense out

It's likely that we won't get any tickets at Kenilworth Road this season and if the bloke doesn't pull through the fixtures for a few years will be Sunday afternoons with either away fans banned or complete bubble matches.

Wouldn't say pre planned as such. There is a long rivalry with Luton and every match has trouble.

Name of Luton fan widely being reported on social media. Seems to be a very 'well respected and connected' man if you get the drift.
