I can understand why he wouldn’t have been interested last time but this season has shown that he can’t really take Aberdeen further. Rangers will only get stronger. It's obviously going to be McClaren, but when was the last time at least 95% of the fanbase was very happy and agreed with an appointment? Plenty of doubters about Hughes, loads about Redknapp... I think we were fairly united if circumspect about Warnock? Have we appointed a manager since Gerry Francis (either time) who was actively warmly, unconditionally welcomed? |  |

Emphasis on youth development and operating within a management structure. The job now isn't seen as the same as the one we gave JFH, or Ollie.
