Always liked him as a manager, says the right things, plays the right way and just seems a nice guy. Hope he does well in the Prem as the boss of everyone's new favourite seaside town club!!
Eddie Howe: Bournemouth boss is LMA manager of the year
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has been named the League Managers' Association manager of the year.
Howe, 37, was honoured after leading the Cherries into the top flight for the first time in their history.
He also claimed the Championship award, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho given the Premier League accolade.
Bristol City's Steve Cotterill and Gareth Ainsworth of Wycombe took the League One and League Two honours respectively. |

Karl must realise that this is an appointment that he can't ponder over for weeks on end. You'd like to think he has a short list and that interviews will be over this weekend but the man has little sense of urgency. Also who is interviewing with him now Jimmy Armfield is out of the equation? |

Don't think our Owen was a big fan of the Tories!
At the time of the trial Oyston claimed he had been the victim of a dirty tricks campaign, and distributed a 72-page glossy booklet - "the Oyston file" - detailing the allegations to reporters as the jury considered its verdict. In it he claimed former Conservative ministers and a businessman had conspired against him. Yesterday he repeated allegations of a conspiracy, claiming police had been told by a businessman in the West Midlands three months before his arrest that he had paid £5,000 to a woman to "set Owen up". |

Just replied to the thread about 'This Board' and said it needs a few more O/T's to bring it alive and so I thought I'd start one which seemed to get a lot of response in Facebook earlier which was about the first film you saw at the cinema ...
Mine was Star Wars (1977?) and just remember the whole experience from Pearl and Dean to the curtain opening and closing, a proper interval and the effects on the big screen were just mind blowing. Must have been about 6 at the time and became hooked. |
