Are you having a laugh? The PL produces a TV programme that is shown all over the world and makes billions of pounds every year. The TV channels decide which matches they want to show and when. The PL has no interest whatsoever in a couple of thousand away fans.
There must be zero money in the third tier of French football. So if we've gifted them £5m for this kid then they will be pretty much assured of buying their way into tier 2.
Which is fine from an overall SR point of view as they've moved one of their clubs up a level.
The French kid teenager we've just 'signed' from another SR club is currently playing in the 3rd tier of French football so is a million miles away from starting for our first team.
I would love to know how many millions we have moved to the other club for him.
The PL dwarfs every other league in terms of money the clubs get and it seems like SR are making the best use of our PL money, while it lasts, to fund their other clubs.
I would wager this kid will never get on the pitch for our first team but they will be eagerly spending the money we've given them this January...
