Oldham are in trouble, albeit a decent, competent owner could get them out of it.
Reading, Bristol City, Blackburn, Cardiff, Stoke and Birmingham all have real issues with P%S rules, as do Everton. Fleetwood's position seems a bit precarious too. |

68 points for the play offs was us in L2, wasn't it? But they go down to 7th in that Division.
I think it will be 74 or so this season. I feel we will finish in the mid 60s, which would be a very respectable effort. |

Am on holiday so have not yet read in full. Delighted though.
Main issues :
1) the EPL and EFL have one last chance to sort revenue distribution out. If they don't, IREF will create something for them
2) timetable suggests a Parliamentary Bill in the 2022/23 Session. FSA work on regulatory powers could be key
3) Shadow regulator was something I was really keen on in the early summer but we weren't sure we could ask for it then. Obviously all that fan evidence counted for something
4) masses to do on capacity building nationally with Trusts. A lot rests on them now
Couldn't be more pleased. |

The context here is that the Juve president has been conniving at this for years and is at least consistent. He thinks his club are too important to be slumming it in Serie A and conventional European competition.
Barcelona and Real Madrid need the money to prop up unsustainable business models. |

Chapter 4 is the best, clearly. 
It's a huge effort by the FSA and I know that the Panel were impressed by the breadth of it as well as the depth of detail.
As ever with these things, turning this into legislation, policy and using both to effect change will be immensely challenging - even if only some of it ends up getting adopted. The implications for the Supporters Trust movement as a whole are prodigious. |

Good question chekks.
She and the Panel certainly gave us a very fair hearing, and they had clearly read our written evidence, which helped. I know that the messages from the Trusts have been very consistent and have pulled no punches ; you'll have to judge the FSA evidence for yourself when it is published.
I'm hopeful about what she will say. Of course, that is when the real fight - and the real work - begins. [Post edited 21 Jul 2021 23:43]

Funny you should say that about the anti-Sadler mentality checks. Not many think like that, but they are there. And they aren't necessarily the people you might think.
One of the biggest changes I've noticed is that the club doesn't leak like a bloody sieve anymore. It is immeasurably better for it. They actually think hard about communication - how to do it, who they need to reach, what the key messaging is. It's very refreshing. |

Oi, I'm watching you.
I'm sure AVFTT has been a zoo throughout the two decades that I've been using it, but the toxicity has been a problem of the last eight for nine years or so, for obvious reasons. And to be honest, I think what causes it varies from time to time.
I'd say that the main problem with the site at the moment is racism. There are a small number who have always been there, and a couple sneaking back on from BHS. It doesn't take many to soil it for everyone else.
Anyway, that's it for now. Sit up straight the lot of you. |
