Nothing to do with fitness. Weds had less of the ball, but when they did it was higher up the pitch and therefore more dangerous. We lack a central midfielder who can unlock the opposition. Until that is fixed we will chug along, huffing and puffing. I keep saying Varane and Field are destroyers, they don't create and they won't get us promoted. Only player centrally that can pass through the lines is Edwards, and he is not ours. |

Beaten by the better team. We looked tired after 20 minutes, and today highlighted how weak the squad is compared to mid-higher league teams. The central midfield is technically weak, we can't keep the ball, and until that is fixed we won't progress up the table. Can't argue with the result. Good teams bounce back, we go again against Millwall. |

Aoraha is 22yo and on loan at Ebbesfleet who are bottom of the National League. Worse, Todd Kane is in that team as well. As Nourry said, if you're 17/18yo and not around the 1st team you're not going to make it at QPR. |

Completely agree. That central midfield area is very worrying should Field or Varane be out for any length of time. After Colback and Madsen (gulp), there is no one who can play there. The only development player I can think of that could step up maybe is Alfie Tuck, but he is very slight. |

Surprised that Morrison and Cook both available, but great news. Nice headache for MC now. |

I think alot has to do with what was going on in and outside the grounds during the 1980s. I am amazed my Dad took me back then considering the problems associated with football at the time. And I've just checked, and yes I was there, Upper Loft (Dad refused to go in the Lower Loft, to many ruffians) |

He may be worth more than £2m to QPR, but he has 6 months left on his contract. We'll be lucky to get £500k if he's sold. BOS was sold to Fenerbache for naff all with 6 months left, and he was 23 years old. Again, to be clear, I want Dunne to stay as he is a good Championship player, but he is replaceable and money talks. |

Followed our team for 40+ years! Why is it negative selling a player if we get a good fee? We are talking Dunne, not van Dyke. He can be replaced. As a club, every player is up for sale, so I'm not going to get upset if we get a good fee. It can be reinvested in a younger, hopefully better player. That's the model Nourry wants. It will be a negative if Dunne doesn't sign a contract and walks for nothing in May to Sheff Utd anyway. I don't think anyone should get to attached to any of our players. All over the Twitter that a couple of Turkish clubs are interested in Varane. If they bid, and it's a good fee, he gets sold. Simple. |

On the Twittery/X/fascist owner (allegedly) thingy that the interest from Sheffield Utd is genuine. Preference is to sign a new contract and stay at QPR. Give us £2m and I'd drive him there myself. |

Runaway! That is a damning interview from Garry Monk. Bottom of L1, and they don't want him. But, neither do we. Is it 18 months left on his contract? |

OK, I'll bite. He's not very good. His improvement is down to two things. MC has found a way to utilise him to his strengths. Namely, set pieces and he has a winger in front, Smyth, who works his socks off doubling up, and covering. Put Dunne in the PL and he is going to be eaten alive. All the improvement Dunne has shown is down to MC, and Dunnes own character. Bet he does nothing if he goes to Sheff Utd. Wilder won't have a clue. For the record I'd like him to stay, but it's not the end of the world if he leaves. |

If he goes, he goes. Good luck to him, more money, play in the PL. U can't really hold it against him. Personally, I'm not fussed either way. Now, going back to the thread about Harrison Ashby and whether we should sign him.......... |

The Hull commentary described QPR as having a 'swagger' about them when we were passing it about. Your report sums that up perfectly, but warns of being cocky. Hard work, hard work. I love it that other people think we have a swagger about us. |

Looks like Ashby has had to delete all his social media due to abuse. No one makes mistakes on purpose. Worth remembering that, before people pile in. |

Strangely, watching match on my phone yesterday, Edwards looked like a certain Terry Fenwick to me. Maybe it was the camera being so far from the pitch, that I need glasses and it was on my phone, plus Edwards slight mullet from a distance haircut. |

He wasn't subbed at half-time. So nothing noteworthy happened. |
