Yes, the camera angle worked really well for the goal and celebrations. It’s also really easy to share the content with WA contacts and groups so it’s a smart piece of work for promoting the club (unless we play like yesterday and have nothing to share !). I just checked the link on my phone and it works indirectly through a second link that opens the App. Might not work so well if you have a laptop or desktop without the WA app installed but as you found, just a quick search for QPR in the WA Channels does the job. |

They also post the team sheet quite early on if you are climbing the walls for an update on selection and injuries etc. |

I’m not sure if this has been posted before but there’s some good content posted on the QPR WA channel, including some alternative angle videos of goals set to festive choons. Follow the QPR FC channel on WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaTDD8d1noz03XpqEE0e Hopefully the link works but if not, I think you can simply open WA and search for QPR FC under channels. Amongst the latest posts are Jimmy’s and Rayan’s goals from the weekend. |

And the AI scores on the doors are: 1. Team Performance and League Standing: 4/10 QPR has struggled to progress, consistently staying in mid-table with little challenge for promotion. The team has underperformed relative to expectations. 2. Financial Management (FFP and Sustainability): 8/10 Nourry has maintained financial stability, adhering to FFP rules and ensuring the club avoids overspending, which is vital for long-term survival. 3. Player Recruitment and Squad Development: 4/10 Despite some promising youth signings, QPR's squad lacks depth, particularly in key areas like attack and full-backs. Recruitment has not sufficiently addressed immediate team needs. 4. Managerial Stability and Decision Making: 5/10 While managerial stability has been maintained, the club has failed to make significant on-field progress. There’s been no clear, effective direction from management. 5. Strategic Vision and Long-Term Planning: 6/10 Nourry’s long-term vision focuses on sustainability and youth development. However, the tangible results have been slow, and the team hasn’t made significant progress toward promotion. 6. Fan Engagement and Communication: 6/10 Communication has been clear, but the club’s failure to deliver on expectations has led to growing fan frustration. Nourry’s updates haven't sufficiently inspired or reignited fan excitement. 7. Squad Depth and Recruitment Strategy: 3/10 Squad depth remains a major issue, and the failure to strengthen key areas, particularly the left-back and attacking positions, has left the team vulnerable. 8. Crisis Management (Dealing with Adversity): 4/10 The club has struggled to effectively address crises, whether managerial changes or injuries, and hasn’t shown enough resilience or quick solutions. 9. Club Reputation and Brand Growth: 4/10 The club’s reputation has remained stable, but QPR has failed to grow its brand or increase its commercial reach, especially due to lack of success on the pitch. 10. Fan Satisfaction and Overall Atmosphere: 4/10 Fan morale has dropped due to poor results and lack of progress. There’s little excitement around the club, and dissatisfaction is growing among supporters. Overall Score: 5/10 |

This is what anyone could have generated in just a couple of seconds….. As CEO of **Queens Park Rangers**, I want to provide an update on the current season and reflect on the challenges and progress we’ve made, especially in light of the financial constraints we face under Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. ### **Performance Overview** It’s been a season of mixed results so far. While we have shown resilience at times, we’ve also struggled to maintain consistency. Our aim has always been to be competitive in the Championship, but we’re currently in a position where we need to ensure our performances translate into more points on the board. We are working hard to improve our attacking efficiency, as we know that is where we’ve fallen short. Our defensive structure has been solid, but we need to improve our ability to convert chances and find the clinical edge we’ve lacked at times. ### **Player Signings and Recruitment Strategy** As we know, the challenges of FFP mean we cannot simply throw money at the problem. Instead, we’ve been strategic with our recruitment, focusing on smart, sustainable signings that fit within our financial constraints. We’ve targeted younger talent with potential, players who can add value both now and in the future. Loan deals have also been an important avenue for us to strengthen the squad without overstepping our financial limitations. I’m confident that, over time, these players will make a meaningful impact on our squad, and we remain focused on developing the next generation of talent through our youth system. ### **Injuries and the Left-Back Position** Injuries, particularly in the left-back position, have been an issue that’s disrupted our balance and consistency. Our squad depth is stretched, and when we face injuries to key players in certain positions, it becomes challenging to maintain the level of performance we expect. The left-back role has been a concern, and we’re doing everything we can to address this, both in terms of medical support and tactical adjustments. We’ll continue to monitor the situation closely and look at options, but we must also be mindful of our budget and the financial framework we operate within. ### **Squad Depth and FFP Constraints** When it comes to squad depth, we are aware that our resources are limited compared to some of the other clubs in the Championship. However, we are committed to working within the constraints of FFP and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the club. This means that every decision, from player contracts to transfer fees, is made with sustainability in mind. We cannot afford to overextend ourselves, but we are working with what we have to build a squad that is competitive, hungry, and capable of growing over time. ### **Looking Ahead** The road ahead is not easy, but I am confident in the direction we are taking. We need to stay patient and focused on our long-term goals, while also addressing the immediate challenges of this season. The fans, our staff, and everyone involved with QPR have shown incredible commitment, and I have no doubt that together we will continue to move forward. The task is to balance the need for success on the pitch with the financial realities that ensure the club remains on a firm footing for the future. Thank you for your ongoing support as we navigate through these challenges. We are all in this together, and I am determined that QPR will emerge stronger and more resilient in the years to come. |

Should we debate the CEO score/rating every time he speaks ? As per the player and referee performances ? Pigeons, puts, cats, amongst…. |

As a regular receiver of ‘could have tried harder’ autumn term school reports, I would say at least he tried (a little) and acknowledges some of the failings/possible areas of improvement. Self awareness is the usually the first step to getting better so maybe we will see more regular communication and updates now. I’m not holding my breath but it’s a decent step in the right direction for now and if it’s the start of a comms strategy, that’s got to be better than radio silence on some of the subjects discussed here. Maybe most telling will be whether or not we get another update following the window and the end of the season, before the summer holibobs and next phase of contracts. |
