Lab grown food
at 01:25 14 Mar 2025

Just seen a bit on catch up news of some reporter viewing a bit of modified steak and then saying it looked so yummy , looked horrific to me to see , the lab asisstant then promptly took the plate away , you cannont eat that yet .

Pot Noodle was developed in a Lab , I eat them in a rush , bit of a joke food but fills a gap .

Start playing around with a core staple diet to many carnivores , add in the chemicals and additives to the alternative , who knows cheaper food or save the Planet .

Reform Wales

Interesting to hear of the Red Rosette voters think of two tier Kiers reform of the NHS in England will be accepted by us under the Labour WAG , follow or fail to act alongside .

Ambulance response times at fatal levels , specialist appointments non existent and Primary GP attention an app on a phone which so many patients have no idea how to use .

Cynics say our defence spending budget is not keep Uncle Sam happy , so find some more .

Dwr Cymru a not for profit water company , what a load of nonsense taking that title .
Shame on you .

Colleague of mine , the bill with no children or overheads is now at £ 55 per month up from just over 30 notes per month . The Crai reservoir is a few miles up the road from there .
Get a few buckets per week and fill your water tanks would be an easier and cheaper option for that household .

Thames Water now near bankrupt bleating about if we go under , Pension Schemes will come with us , please UK Government bail us out .

Seem to remember The Banks went into a meltdown in the financial crash few years back .

They were saved with taxpayers money and the fat cats in the boardroom survived and still can draw a healthy salary .

Classical Music

The Planets by Gustav Holst , Vivaldis Four Seasons mainly for violin excellence playing .

Chuck in a bit of Bach and Beethoven , not their highbrow stuff for the real experts in that field , not me in that bracket .

Driving trips I skim through the radio stations , Classic FM put on some bangers though .
Far too much forced listening to drivel on Radio 1 there .

Pictures at an Exhibition Mussorsky was the head turner in my school music lessons .

So very iffy online reporting suggest a pre planned sabotage event on a US registered vessel which was at anchor in the North Sea when it was ploughed into and caught fire .

Where are Mulder and Scully when you need them . conspiracy theories will abound .

Ashleigh Road was a hot bed for local teams back in the day , reserves ko at 12 .45 . then the firsts at 14,30 , each pitch and changing room when available was an experience .
All pitches used to full capacity , even the Sunday League teams benifited with the facilities .
Same at Mynydd Newydd fields , bit windy up there though on many occasions .

Out of curiousity I wonder how much a football permit costs these days on them parks .

Really think Sky . Premier League need to spread the wealth to grass roots football and save the game at its core .

Players earn obscene wages these days , chuck in Saudi megabucks to the mixer .

That jumpers for goalposts statement is fast disappearing .

Hope I could be proved wrong with figures , but are the younsgters really interested in active sports events at a local level and grass roots or Man City , Liverpool and Man Utd as their go to preference for entertainment on their laptop or phone .

Ospreys have chucked the towel in , a bad sign for Swansea sport in general .

Rumours went around Super John Hartson wanted to come home to Swansea City .

Martinez said not needed with our current squad , thanks , but no thank you .

Swans with Bony maybe akin to Joey is not a rest home to loyal ex players .

Clase Social Club
at 01:07 8 Mar 2025

The Local Miners Welfare Hall and Workingmens Social Clubs were a challenge to enter as a teen , an established member must countersign your admittance entry first young man .
No entry otherwise and move on , members only .

As mentioned earlier my late dads Weekend treat was Saturday Night at the local WMC .
Bingo , cabaret and chat with the oldies , he looked forward to it , mother never minded .

Drove him down in my Triumph Herald early evening , queues were stretched back onto the street for entry into that Social event , forgot to pick him up later though as promised .

Really think COVID did finish the local boozer and knock on effects still ongoing now .

Spoons , cheap and cheerful still thrive in the current climate , doing something right .

Seen a bit of the interview on Catch up news 24 , pathetic gibberish Hannah you really are a disgrace to your fathers name ,

Waffle as much as you like where did £37 million go to , maybe your own purse , either way you are in a pickle and how to get out of it with Sir Toms name still intact .

Some nonsense daytime TV adverts continue to plead for help , phone this number and pledge a donation , you will help the most needy , ok thanks for thats heads up .

Oakwood Theme Park Closed ...
at 01:33 7 Mar 2025

Tenby , a one day attraction to walk around if you can ever get a parking space , nice beach .
Saundersfoot the same sadly .

WAG will bang on about St. David City , Pembrokshire National Parks and stunning views .

Cost of a weeks holiday in a static caravan in Kiln Park or a cheapie flight from Bristol to Spain in the sunshine , no comparrison .

Loved theme parks , old Aberavon seafront park , then Trecco Bay which has now bite the dust sadly .

Disneyland Paris still thrive though , colleague who recently returned from Orlando bought a bit of nothing tirvia with a Mickey Mouse stamp on it cost 40 dollars , no problem .

Marketing like that us in the wilderness have no answers to customer expectations .

I hear he shops at one of the major supermarket chains in the Swansea Valley these days .

Lives in the area and pushes his trolley around the aisles incognito , nice one .

My experience of dealing with customers who I know have a backstory I would love to hear their side of the media news , would never ask that question anyway .

Lemit Opik was another beaut too .

Met one of them Cheeky Girls , why not , what was not to like in her .

His career is now a non event , tomorrows chip papers wrapping if that is still a thing .

Vaughan Gething it seems has also slipped away quietly under the radar , nice one .

Politicians Cardiff Bay or Westminster , got to love them .

My first impression of JD Vance in that circus of the live TV broadcast last week will never make me feel easy for the outcome of Ukraine , Its victims and Independence .

The Don holds all the cards now in this awful situation , play now or hold .

Poker faced reactions and up the chips on the who gives first , a frightening scenario .

The Stranglers in Bristol October , recent you tube videos are not convincing me to make the effort to attend though , ticket prices , head down overnight hotel costs and transport to the venue to see a decent but not the real Stranglers in their pomp onstage .

Hugh Cornwell it appears finished after the band became mainstream , he did not want the fame .

Like to remember them as bassist JJ Brunel wanting to fight with some of the crowd during a gig at The Top Rank Swansea .

Always remember The Skids were the support act , they were impressive too .

Cardiff Arms now long gone was the place to be for local live music .

Adam and Eve was another hotspot , acts scheduled to start as the punters returned to the boozer from The Stadium .

Badfinger , never looked into their Swansea backstory in too much depth though .

Bowie , glam rock and punk , in some small doses , were my music oulets back in the day .

Two tier Kier has promised another £1.6 billion of UK funds to keep this bun fight going .

Sure the NHS and border forces would love that investment into their awful funding .

Prove that the funding has come from frozen Russian assets , not seen the proof or wording of that claim strangely . He did bang on about defence jobs in Belfast as an asset .

Sad to say but The Don does really hold all the cards in this horror , he knows it too .

Whatever that non sesible title puts her at the Cabinet heirachy at No.10 .

£2 million donations will be stopped to help out the poor in India , having a laff there .

India sending space missions and at the forefront of Industry , TATA a sore point to me .

That Country must be skint , lets chuck them another couple of quid at them .

Resigning matter or another leftie snowflake being very upset .

North of 40k to buy an EV , no decent power points to recharge at a ridicolous low range .

Sorry , will continue to fuel up at the petrol pump unless a useful alternative is found .

Mini it seems is pulling out of the UK market sales , not selling enough green cars .
