We have had a good unbeaten run since the last international break, it had to come to end, they always do with the Rangers. Really poor first half performance, but more solid in the 2nd. The real challenge will be if we can avoid going on a downward spiral and a losing run like this time last year. Personally think the Watford and Luton home games are the ones we need to get positive results in, will be suprised if we do anything at Norwich they will be all over us. |

This and we have got to get through Norwich on Sunday, who will smell blood. Some really rough performances here, all we can hope is we keep at 3 and try and snatch a goal to at least show we are doing something. This is just so Rangers, but sort of know this anyway, just hope we don't now go on one of our depressing runs of defeats in a row (usually 6). |

Plantar Fascia injury probably take a couple of months to improve, but as a fit footballer could be quicker. Had this type of injury a couple of years back playing walking football, had to do physio for a while building up with stretches, icing the heel and predominantly improving calf muscle strength to take the strain so to speak. |

These next two away games be interesting to see how it goes, will the loss of Cook be difficult to overcome. Sort of feel more confident of 3 points at Swansea, think Norwich will be a lot harder, they will come at us and try and avenge the recent home beating. Rangers not renowned for keeping unbeaten runs going and two away games over the Christmas period could be a tough call. But optimism rules and we should on our current form be a tough nut to crack. |

Well done Marti and the coaching team, utilising two different approaches to home and away games. At home we are now more expansive and front footed especially in the midfield, like the way Morgan is being used, away from home solid defensively and looking to counter attack. Hopefully the loss of Cook won't disturb the balance too much, but we have really turned a corner after coming back from the international break and what is most pleasing is getting our home form going. |

He had a great game today, growing in both confidence and control. Like the way Marti is using him. |

Great stuff today Rangers, super winning header by Dunne, loving it in the Loft End again! |

All that money spent on those two teams really is laughable of how crazy top tier football has become, but must admit an enjoyable game to watch, especially the 2nd half, enhanced without having VAR to spoil it. Man Utd are a right basket case and Spurs are getting even more Spursy than they've ever been. |

Such a shame with Andersen, he really looks shot this season and was such a great watch when he joined the club and a key part in us staying up. He has looked out of sorts since picking up that injury taking a corner at Sheff Utd in August. |

He is doing a decent job on the left whilst Paal gets up to speed. You can see he is playing out of position as he favours moving in field and spreading the ball to the right. Much rather have him on the left than Santos who had a mare against Middlesbrough. |

Took that goal brilliantly, he never ceases to amaze me, can frustrate the hell out of me with his final ball, but today takes some skill to score cooly from that range. |
| Forum Thread | Lloyd - Lone Striker Role at 14:32 14 Dec 2024
Like him in this role, strong and attacking, causes defenders problems, we looked a lot more dangerous 2nd half with Alfie up front. |

It is, can we hold out, to be honest will be happy with a point. But it will be a long 2nd half if we can't get going. |

One of the big changes for me is that we are now playing to win games, rather than before the last international break where we were trying not to lose and losing. Confidence and momentum a big plus and Morrison and Cook look solid at the back. Ashby needs to cut out those bizarre long cross field left to right passes could have been costly against a better side tonight. [Post edited 11 Dec 23:30]

Very good 2nd half from Rangers, Field took his chances well. Smyth delivered a great ball in at last for Kolli to head back nicely for Field's first. All round poor first half from both teams but we stepped up and took the game to them. |

I must admit I was a bit concerned when Kolli was the substitute rather than Lloyd, as not sure whether he is a bit too lightweight for the Championship. But it was great to be proved wrong once he got a couple of flicks on from headers he got his confidence up and that opening goal, great anticipation and battling for a lovely finish for the 2nd. Onwards and upwards Mr Kolli. [Post edited 8 Dec 5:03]

Improvements all round from the new boys, Madsen is finding his feet so to speak and getting more involved game by game. Thought Varane was ok today but does have a habit of being over elaborate on the ball with too many opponents around him and turning into trouble, caught out a couple of times. Saito a real diamond worked hard again for the team and Morrison doing well, but still working up his fitness. Morgan still learning his trade some loose passes, but like the way he tries to rectify his mistakes, nearly scored. Ashby had a good 2nd half another one finding his feet in the team. Nardi is excellent but not really had much to do really as Norwich were quite poor on the attack. |
