That's a message, isn't it?

You won't run around, so I am afraid you are behind even Varane, who is now on the bench, too!
Madson had a fair crack of the whip, but he did not deliver.

In the champ, you have to run, run, run. Frey woke up to this; he realised you cannot stroll around. Frey is not that great at running, but he knows he needs to do it. Chair does it all the time, and he has the most skill compared to anyone else on the team. There really is no excuse.

Everyone runs, or you're out of the team, simples.

Not quite fast enough for the Prem, but great awareness of whats in front of him.
Quality performance.

No way Saints will let us even buy him for £3m now. He will be back in the Saints team come August :(
Anyway he can help us for now.

I see he was injured when we signed him.

We seem to be the club that signs the most injured players, knowing full well that they are injured when we sign them!

Dunne off?
at 16:09 3 Feb 2025

Rumour is that we are in for Dijksteel from Boro.
Decent player and proven at this level for RB. However, while fast not the best at tackling compared to Dunne. Which is why Boro don't want him anymore.

I always thought Dijksteel would be better as a DMC because he can carry the ball, but what do I know?

Back to Dunne, I suspect QPR rejected the first bid from Wilder; then they asked how much; QPR said £X. Sheff Utd went a little lower (while also sounding out many other options as they apparently need two CBs). Then QPR said okay as long as they can get a replacement in by 11pm. Seeing as Santos is gone and Ashby cannot get in ahead of Edwards (who is not even a convertible RB), then this is probably what is going on.

People who have said why would SU do this, well, for £2m for Dunne and some loan cost with Holding, you can increase your chances of getting to the Prem, then that is worth a punt for ex-Prem side. Thats nothing to them.

But I am only guessing on everything here.
I have no way of knowing.

Well, if he's that good, this is a very true statement.
But how good is he? What are his qualities, and what are his negatives?

We already know his negatives. He gets injured a lot, as these are the types of players we sign. We have even signed players with a broken leg before, knowing that their leg was broken.

Looks more left than right, transfer market has him down as a LB with a left foot.

I would suspect we are looking at him in terms of getting another LB in (rumor is that a Chelsea LB is coming in any moment now), as our current LB Paal is inconsistent and not really focused. His contract runs out in the summer, and he's probably off to Watford. Or even better, we can sell him in the window for something (unlikely).

This is not a Dunne replacement transfer from the looks of it, even as an alternative Pacy RB.

Kelman?

I always said Smyth was decent and should never have been let go.
He has improved under Marti, but Marti has let Kelman go out on loan. And then Marti has decided not to loan Kolli and so far Lloyd go out on Loan, which means they are above Kelman and younger; that should tell you a lot.

We should sell Kelman for £2m in summer and this would mean we would not have to sell any of our other assets for another season as we have to sell every season.

Sell him to Brum when they come up, they will buy anyone.
Also, with those stats he looks good on paper now but we know this is not his level.

Best to sell while his stick is so high, we failed to sell Dykes when Millwall wanted him for £2m and only got £1m from Brum in the end. And we were lucky to get that.

Flog him for £2m; someone will pay it.

No, it's not.

When the fascists come for you, then you will see the difference. And no, Stalin was not left, just like Hitler was not. Those killers were fascists. These lot are big business whores, not quite fascists, but when the crunch time comes, they will side with them. Farage is only waiting for it to happen and to step in.

A real Labour government after WW2 gave us the NHS, Wages Council (the precursor to the minimum wage), Nationalised Railways (as they were private before), and 1 million new homes in their first year of office — yes, in the first year not five years later in the first year of office!

Remember, the economy was way worse just after WW2 than it is now. Not only that, there was no infrastructure like materials readily available (all used up by the war), fewer tradespeople (dead or injured in the war), and none of the new fancy tech that we have today (computers to aid design, mega cranes on mass, mega trucks to carry it all around, mega drills to put in foundations and the list goes on) and the super big one, absolutely no money as the country was totally bankrupt. There is no excuse for "we have no money" because a previous REAL Labour govt did it. It's not fantasy; they did this, and it's already proven as being possible.

That's the difference between the left and right. When the REAL left gets lucky and is in government, you get all that and more. Now, if you look at Starmer, his government has promised 1.5 million homes over 5 years. This was a promise. But even that is a pathetic 300k per year, and they cannot even do that—only around 200k this year if they are lucky. That's how you know this lot is NOT the REAL Labour left (apart from a few lefties at the back whom the press slags off all the time).

Even if you're a Tory, you should ask this question of this government because we all should ask this, which is ...

"Why can you not build these homes like the post-WW2 Labour government actually did in one year?"

We should all ask this question of this government and keep asking it and all the time. If you're on the right and don't ask this, then I shall call you out as a snowflake who is more interested in someone's personal organ plumbing than putting plumbers to work on the economy.

I said it before, and I shall repeat it (and I said it first before the election); you cannot trust Starmer as he's more of a liar than Boris. He is a corporate whore and liar. He lied to his party, he lied to the country, and when we go to war against whomever, he will lie again.

That is why I call him TFS (Two-Faced Starmer) and you should too!

No, if they can claim that even the rejected players get a contact elsewhere, they can claim that their academy makes you a pro footballer one way or the other. That's a big draw for parents who don't want to risk that opportunity.

Spurs can now add that they have lower-level affiliate clubs just down the road at places like QPR. Even if it does not work here, they will take your little Kevin Won or Kim Smith. Look at Morgan as proof.

For us, if Smyth plays left, which he can do, and Yang on the right with Dembele down the middle and also LLoyd up front, now that's a very fast front line.

Chair new contract?
at 11:31 26 Jan 2025

Chair has been with the club since Jan 31st 2017 I believe.
With this contract, we can assume at least 2 years, so we would assume he could make it to 2027, meaning he would have been with the club for over 10 years.

He should then get a testimonial. How many players get testimonials these days, especially attacking players who actually play well?

Last testimonial I remember was for Macca, unless there was another?

If we get a testimonial, does this mean we get to see Adel, Rowley, Cook, Slim Sinton, Holloway, P.Furlong, take to the field? Possibly against a Morocco select 11, seeing as there is plenty of them that play over here and in Europe.

All fantasy I know!

I am hoping Santos takes Ashbys spot on the bench. Otherwise, what was the point in signing Santos at all. And if there is no point,t we need to let him transfer out in Jan for minimal, as we got him for nothing anyway.

Richards???
at 16:34 23 Jan 2025

So, that means QPR won't take him back unless another club wants to loan him before the end of January (unlikely) and Richards himself is willing to go to that other club, which would be at most L2 or SP2 (unlikely). That is so unfair on Richards ... err ... nobody ever said.

He's staying at Cambridge, where he will have to turn up and train. Otherwise, I bet he can be fined. That will be mentally taxing and stressful. It could even wrongly and allegedly result in another physical injury, allegedly.

Soon, he will be in the last year of his contract. I expect him to start playing great, and then we will loan him for the last year to some club in Poland, probably for free, yet he has to pay his own expenses.

He will go to show what he can do, to convince another club to sign him in L1, and also because it's super cheap over there. No doubt many girlies want to be married to a UK footballer who is young enough to get into the Prem and the mega riches (even though we here know that may never happen ... allegedly).

Then there are the Holiday clubs in Hong Kong, ala JET and Todd Kane, with eventual retirement due to an unresolvable injury. It's all very sad ... for QPR.

After all that, it's a new adventure to be a Football Agent, as he has been through it and understands the pressure for young ones, unlike the tired old men type agents who talk on shows about how the clubs let them down with his 'struggles' and personal trauma.

He will now be fighting the good fight for all the other new young players coming through (while taking 25% ... allegedly). Not to mention that he trained with X stars at Brighton before they became stars, knows them well, and is not surprised as he always knew they would make it (not revealing that he's also their new agent ... allegedly).

It seems the career is all mapped out and thought through. Top strategic planning there.
Well played, son.
