bearing in mind citehs recent results at home I would certainly go with a side that can contain/keep possesion so here goes:
Vorm
Taylor Williams Chico Davies
Britton Canas
Hernandez Shelvey De Guzman
Vasquez

Think with De Guzman and Shelvey there can help in the middle if needed and De Guzman can give good deliver. Even though Dyer offers a higher work rate on the right I think some craft is needed somewhere on the pitch.

Got to say I'm more with ML than Huw on this, given the number of games coming up.
We have more chance (with all due respect) to gaining point v Newcastle and Hull and there's St Gallen (must win for me) and Norwich in a short space of time.

With Bony injured we will proberly play without a striker. Our squad and formation would therfore be something like this.

The major drawback playing without striker is - we don<t create any chances.

Anybody who thinks Teindalli is better option than Taylor or Amat at RB needs a footballing education.

Haven<t had time to check Swansea news because all of those Christmas parties.

Shiiite thought "only" Bony was injured.

Seem we are going to see Tiendalli tomorrow then.

Taylor has been quite average so far. Do not bring much to our offense - compared to Davies.

Vorm

Cañas Leon
Dyer JDG Routledge (is he fit?)
Vazquez

With the form they're in at the moment getting out of there with a 2 or 3 goal defeat would probably be a good result!

I'd go as far as to say that the next two games are almost impossible to win without a recognised striker in the team. Park the bus and go for a strategy of damage limitation for those two.
Then go all out for three wins against Hull, St. Gallen and Norwich.

Vazquez scored a goal every two games for the best U-21 side in the world.
I think that might just count as recognised. Scored a perfectly good goal against Valencia and was unlucky not to get another one.

As far as Taylor goes - he's been woeful at left back this season, f*ck knows what he'd be like playing on the right. Given Tiendalli's lack of confidence/form, I'd be tempted to try Amat there although he'll probably start with Dwight.

Canas and Leon as holding midfielders and the wingers will have to tuck in and play deep. Stop Citeh playing through the middle and force them to go wide where they're less effective. If Pablo and Jonjo can create something then we might just get something...

JDG off the bench to beat the dodgy keeper with a 30 yard free-kick in injury time and nick all three points...

Sorted.

I haven't been this confident of a defeat heading our way since Tommy Butlers double at Bramell
Lane. Riddled with withdrawals and injuries that weekend also has convinced me to throw away a quid on the same result 200/1 betting fans ;)

As strong as side as possible please. We've always had a good goal difference record since we've been up here and it's always a good indication to where a club is so if we can keep it down to 1 or 2 goal difference then i'll be happy.
