I was at the game and may have jinxed us by repeatedly asking where the "super sub" was.
I managed to catch highlights of Kuban's derby game on the Sunday and he turned the game for them in that one as well.

I don't know what people expected Bony to do to be honest. He hasn't scored many in the league, because he hasn't played much in the league. Yes he's not quick, or particularly physically fit but that's not really what you want in a striker and I don't see what it is about people that demand this in a striker. He's scored 8 goals in 17 games, over a goal every two games when you consider that several of those 17 games were as a substitute and that's good going. We're going to have a long season, so if he can stay injury free he's on course for well over 20 goals a season and I'm just going to have to ignore the doubters as I'm glad we've got a lethal striker back at the club.

I don't want to replace Bony.. we need somebody who can turn the game on its head while losing. Luke Moore saved us points.. Ki comes on and sorts our sloppiness out.. but they're not with us. We need an impact sub.. unless somebody can step up from the bench in a losing position and deliver. | |
