Season ticket prices announced on 20:20 - Mar 29 by Clivert | We won't know if its good value until this time next season, if we've had a good season and we're still battling for promotion next April then I'm sure all ST holders will say it has been good value for money. Take this and last season as examples, we've paid the same amount of cash for our STs and I'm sure everyone will say that last season it was excellent value seeing the likes of Dawson and O'Grady steering us to our best ever league finish however this season for the same money we've had Barnes-Homer and Balkenstein pulling the strings in the team at times and the 5 home league wins represent awful value for money. You pays your money and takes your choice each summer I'm afraid with buying a season ticket though. |
Your last sentence sums it up perfectly, how boring would it be if we knew before hand what each season was going to bring. I always thought the club was jinxed, why is it always other teams who get in the play offs ? What must it be like for your club to play at Wembley ? Promotion never happens for Rochdale. Well over the last few years all those things have come true and there is nothing to suggest it wont happen again, even more so when you look at the financial turmoil a lot of clubs are now facing. I reckon buying a season ticket for league two could be a good investment. So over the last few years we have had play offs, a promotion, witnessed some of the best players ever to pull on a Dale shirt and maybe a upcoming relegation, you cant say a ST isnt value for money !!

That would make the "Great Escape" episodes in the TVOS redundant. What title should we give this one, " Three managers and a funeral "

The Wright Stuff? | |
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |

Season ticket prices announced on 11:16 - Mar 29 by D_Alien | Is that the same year you hit the tram? Move along swiftly, tazbot Any money that's come your way has originated from someone else working to earn a living, paying their taxes and paying fares on public transport I don't want to know about your injuries, and I couldn't care less how much compo you got, but don't go parading your sources of income on here as though they were "earned". |
Without meaning to subscribe to Tazzy's complaints, I think we should all remember Tazzy is a tax payer too - its called VAT, and anyone who has an ICER is receiving benefits funded by Tazzy and his fellow VAT payers (same of course for anyone who uses the NHS or received their education from state schools). If you dont like paying taxes get your car off my roads

You pay VAT on the purchase of a number of products and services. To make these purchases you need money. Now if you do not work and are not using savings obtained through working to fund these you are reliant on government handouts, paid for through taxtation. Therefore in response to your argument, people who work are also paying Tazzy's VAT as well, as he has no 'earned' income! What is an ICER? Do you mean an ISA? If so then this is not a benefit, but a tax break, such as someone's personal allowance, which is the amount a person is allowed to earn before paying income tax. No one in this thread has mentioned about paying their taxes (although who likes paying taxes especially when some people receive more in benefits then they do working), meerly the fact that someone who does not work moans at other fans who do not attend games as they are at work or cannot afford to attend them, whilst he boasts of his weekends away all paid for by the hardworking tax payer. I thought the roads belonged to the country? Your last point is like me saying stop drinking my water as I pay United Utilities every month for its use. Mindless! [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Season ticket prices announced on 12:03 - Mar 29 by HK_Dale | I didn't mention this here as its not me, however, tazzy I feel after this comment I need to clarify something with you. You may or may not know this but I was ran over when I was 14 and was hospitalised for 3 weeks, is that near death enough for you? This has also left me disabled, again enough for your approval? So i could have done like you have done, carp on about it, play for sympathy etc. but i decided to continue with my life and progress and your right, i don't make many games, which i am gutted about and there may be some jealousy. But the reason i don't make many games anymore is because i decided to go out get a good degree and a good job, this job requires me to live in london and work long hours, so i make as many games as possible while paying taxes for you to get your benefits so you can go to every home and away game. So if i am peeved about your whinging that is the reason. Jealousy, anger, call it what you will but getting hit by a f*cking tram does not give you license to behave like a f*ckwit. Just to add, I am not looking for sympathy with the above comment just putting tazbot here factually aware of circumstances that may make me a little annoyed at his behaviour. |
HK Dale, (putting two and two together and doubtless coming up with 5!), were you the young lad, whose leg was crushed under the bus after getting off it, on Bury Rd?
