The Ipswich manager was born in England, but he has an Irish accent, so is he English or Irish?

Why can’t we find more English Managers to manage at the highest level?

There have been some great English managers in the past:

Lawrie McMenemy
Hoddle
Bobby Robson
Keegan
Southgate
Clough
Hodgson
Big Sam?

Now I'm struggling

Howard Kendall? Won two league titles, one FA Cup, one European Cup Winners Cup.

Howard Wilkinson, was he the last English manager to win the league?

Joe Royle won the FA Cup in 95. Don’t think many English managers have won it since.
