Today’s immigration figures are shocking, the revision of the net migration figures for the year ending June 2023 to 960,000 is unbelievable. The net migration figure for the year ending June 2024 of 728,000 is also horrendous, we’ve been gaslighted for longer than most of us would care to remember.
The Brexit slogan of “Taking control of our borders…….” Is a a complete and utter @@@@ take. All that’s happened is that we’ve replaced EU migrants with non EU migrants from India, Pakistan, Nigeria and other places.

Immigration does boost the economy, but so would booting several million of the sick and dole.

Immigration is claimed to boost the economy. I've seen figures that suggest otherwise when you factor in the ultimate cost. We also apparently need migration to support an ageing population. What happens when the migrants themselves get old is a question that has yet to be answered.

Bottom line is that there are too many people contributing too little (including the home grown), and continuing to cram more in will not help the situation.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

You are correct, for some reason or other, people seem to think that all old people in care homes are indigenous and white, take a look at care homes in any of our major cities.

There was an article on the BBC yesterday about how some young people can't find a job. The excuses used were pathetic. Ranging from they don't have enough support to having anxiety.

I've heard of someone today getting PIP for having a prostrate problem.

Our social safety net needs to be a lot lower.

Then again Farage’s Brexit is costing us £100 billion per year.

Did you get £100 billion from your fantasy league?

Can you actually break it down into the areas where you claim it has cost us?

Savings on no longer having to pay the EU £10 billion.

Starmer and his awful Cabinet have lied all through their short tenure at No.10 .

Broken promises and pledges in his manifesto , now a laughing matter for ridicule .

Immigration will be stopped asap , no tax rises apart from the fudged over small print .
All lies by another Politician as usual .

Quick listen in on catch up Radio of Jeremy Vine challenging that lovable rougue Bojo on his stance during the COVID lockdown and Partygate was waffle of the highest order .

There again he was flogging his book , hopefully bargin bin reading in a few weeks .

I alteady sourced the £100 billion figure to Bloomberg.
Might be more now with the large scale car manufacturing closures announced this week.

Its the disaster we told you it would be.

And the small boat crossings are way more than before Brexit. Well done Einstein.

And Farage says ….. wait for it …. Vote for Reform to end the small boat crossings.
Shirley you are not dumb enough to fall for the same con trick twice ?
Amazing.

Your Brexit has failed. You were lied to.

Immigration (both legal and illegal) could be brought under control in a day if there was the political will to do so. Literally with the swipe of a pen. But they want as many people coming here as possible because it drives down wages and grows GDP.

Last sentence is probably about right. However, I think it is beginning to dawn on most people that although a larger population means higher total GDP, what we are seeing is falling per capita GDP.
