Plymouth's fire power 09:50 - Nov 23 with 1069 viewskernowhoop

Plymouth Argyle have had problems scoring goals (was it zero shots at Leeds?) but did anyone see Andre Gray's two goals for them last night? Not much good at 'pressing' but he knows what that white-painted structure is behind the opposition's defence.

Brilliant strikes from probably his only two touches in the game. Or did he take the kick offs?

He did score a couple of good ones for us too but .......

No-one cares if strikers hardly touch the ball if they score two goals in a match.

Took him level for goals this season in the league with Michy Frey! Although Frey has one in the cup too

Poll: Moses Odubajo - Stick or Twist?

He’s scored three goals in three starts and two subs appearances.
I bet Plymouth fans are very pleased with his contribution so far.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I bet we’ve spent more on strikers (Dykes, Bonne, Frey, Celar, Etc), than the £5m we would have needed to have kept Wells here four years ago… and collectively they have probably scored less over that time combined than he has at Brizzle.

43 goals in 207 games for Wells in Bristol, 35 in 165 for Lyndon for us. So not really.

Compared to every striker we have had since? For sure.
