Transfer deadline thread on 09:10 - Aug 28 with 5385 views | builthjack | We will likely take £6m for Piroe, and perhaps £4m for Obafemi, and spend £2m of it. I hope not.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

After we just sold a defensive midfielder for 9 to 13 million we’re going to give two strikers away for ten million who scored 35 goals between them in a sh*t set up? You’re clearly depressed. Seek help!

Transfer deadline thread on 11:39 - Aug 28 with 5164 views | magicdaps10 | A lot will depend on what happens with Piroe and Bennett. I would hazard a guess the West Ham player is being done because there will be a little haggling with the deal that took Downes to West Ham. If Piroe goes then you can expect a rush for a replacement and a bit to spend in a new right sided player and a loan/permanent midfielder. I think a preference would be to Leeds with Drameh as part of the deal. Someone will be involved in trying to get loans out for B.Cooper and Dan Williams. Piroe holds the key if we want to see some real squad strengthening and boy do we need it. If Piroe goes then I would like to see us push for Ogbene at Rotherham, a player who can play both wing back and as an out out winger AND capable of playing up top also. Realistically I expect it to be damp squib with the usual excuses and the frustration to be added on to the manager and players. PS- Would this lad from Bayern be an extra or a replacement for an outgoing maybe 🤔 [Post edited 28 Aug 2022 15:49]

Transfer deadline thread on 13:26 - Aug 28 with 4978 views | KeithHaynes | I can see Dan Williams getting a loan, and again that won’t affect the salary position that much. Paterson still out and no explanation as to the ‘injury’ remains a possibility.

I think the £6 million price tag for Piroe has disappeared.

Wham boy? I know we are crap but signing Andrew Ridgely and playing him on the wing isn’t going to help.

This transfer window started promisingly but now it seems it’s going to fizzle out like a moist octopus.

Is there the interest in Dan at a worthwhile level? Was speaking to someone who went to the u21s game against Crewe and he wasn't sure many clubs would be looking at his type. Very much a "Swansea City" midfielder. Just a shame he couldn't stay at Dundalk, they're flying.

Transfer deadline thread on 17:20 - Aug 28 with 4653 views | jasper_T | If Luke Cundle is coming in to play centre midfield we'd be better off saving our pennies and making use of Fulton and Williams on the bench. Seen suggestions he can play wingback but that would be another square peg situation, surely.

We actually bought it in Nerja in frozen form along with some creatures that lurk at the bottom of the ocean ingesting effluent. Never have I felt so ill God/Allah willing,we are aiming to go back to Nerja next June. It is a very special place for us. I actually did a few songs with Ian Macnabb in bar Negra y Blanca. Ian did a free show as the one he did the year previously was crap due to the soundman. Twas strange to see him all over my missus, after I r eturned from a visit to the John ,10 yrs older than him, almost sticking is tongue down her throat. I wouldn't have minded a menage a trois though as I was pretty pysed and he's a lovely guy though smokes and therefore stinks like a trooper. Hes ' a cheeker bugger. Normally, when you ask a well known artist/celeb/star if they want a drink they say ,"its ok ,thanks. With Macnabb its ,can ya get me a Draft Guinness and a BOTTLE of white wine please and ask them if they've got any matches. I kid you not. He's a great lad though but he lost his mum this year with whom he has always lived in a big old house near Newsham Park and he's shattered by it. Pat ,his mum was a character herself. A criminally underated singer songwriter and performer and a real music man His autobiography ,Merseybeast ,is a seriously gold read Keith.

It’s not just pace ,it’s the unwillingness of players to move into forward spaces , can’t see the players feet , fine then knock into space to run into, but no it’s the safe option of playing square passes (classic example , Congreaves mistake yesterday, and yes it was a mistake, but he had no option forward )
