Man of the match yesterday for Lincoln.
Scored a cracker too.

.

He wanted to make a point to Martin, big time. Allegedly.

Says it all about Martin's crass mis-management, poor judgement, over-inflated ego and immaturity.

Whittaker wont be coming back.
He will have a great season and will be snapped up
Why would he want to return when Martin is still there.

Meanwhile we watched Korey Smith and Liam Cullen take it in turns to spend some time playing wide right for Swansea and achieve little all match.

Only when Kyle Naughton was allowed to join the attack did we have any success down the right hand side.

What was the thought process behind sending our most talented wide player away when Martin knew he would be switching to a formation that desperately needs effective wide players to succeed?

MK Dons have improved since he left. Swansea City have regressed since he joined. These are not coincidences.

If Morgan had a blinder yesterday good on him. Keep it going son. Instead of slagging off the manager why not consider the "tough love" is getting results.

I was far from convinced about Whittaker as was Rooney W, Cooper S and Martin R. Martin had issues with him early in the season and these apparently have been attended to like Obafemi who I expect to kick on.

19 year old footballers are all different. If Whittacker goes to Lincoln with a fire in his belly and rips it up then bravo to Martin. Martin has worked with Downes, Piroe and Whittaker all young all with misfiring careers. Two of the three are firing for Swansea (among the clubs best players) and the other has made a very decent start. Two others Garrick and Copper O who was ignored by Cooper S are going great guns.

I think he has a wonderful future ahead of him.
At Lincoln.
And when he comes back I hope that carries on here.

OK I've changed it.

Good player who would do a better job than most we have...starting to think differently about Martin he's a bit clueless on things ,seen that yesterday as they went down to ten men...

The fact very few of us are surprised about this doesn’t reflect well on Martin

This is Patches O'Houlihan saying "Take care of your balls, and they'll take care of you."

Watched the 2nd half

Looked a class above with the ball a and took his goal well

Had the feeling he was a bit dis-interested at times, which probably isn't what Martin looks for

People praising Morgan doing well for a League 1 club against another League 1 and attacking Martin are also taking aim at us for looking to sign players from League 1!
Well Whittaker.. didn't get the game time I thought he deserved with us.

Morgan Whittaker is an improving player as you would expect. He only scored 1 in 19 in Derby and was drummed out by Rooney. Lincoln should see his career on a sharply upward trajectory after 12 months training at Fairwood and developing physically and technically under Cooper and Martin.

Like Garrick, Ollie Cooper, Brandon Cooper and Joseph he needs to return "good to go".

Obvious we should have kept him.

Cullen should have gone out to see what he can do.
Joey Allen went to Wrexham.
Connor to Yeovil.
Big Joe to Cheltenham.
Cabango to TNS …?

Morning Killy.

Cabango. My heart bleeds for the lad. His career is being ruined.
He need to get away permanently.
Sadly,I think Martin will see his exit

From what I van see Whittaker has improved a lot training every day with Cooper and Martin for the last 12 months. He had 19 games at Derby and scored only once. Rooney moved him out.

Now he looks stronger and more focused and hopefully will be a huge success at Lincoln and get into the Swansea team next season. Mr Allen is there to ensure Swansea get good value for investment in young players.
