Tory cronyism on 19:21 - Apr 15 by Catullus | You do know the poll tax was actually fairer than the current council tax system. There are 2 afults in our house, there are 5 adults living next door, they make considerably more rubbish than us but pay the same. They use twice as much (at least) as us but pay exactly the same. In NPT the council tax for a band D house is more than the same band in Mumbles. Why is it fair? We should pay for the services we use, not by the value of our house. I feel the same about the VED charge, scrap it and put up the tax on fuel, those that use the most will pay by usage, not by the value of their car then put a purchase tax on cars graded by emissions so the most polluting cars cost even more to buy. |
Bang on. | |
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Yes but what the poll tax did was to articulate hate for the State/Authority/Government. An opportunity to rage against the machine. No surprise to see Firemen at the fore. They turned after their strike which saw the Army and Police covering their work. No wonder there was little love lost between police and fire brigade as it was. Great shame as Fire ,Police Ambulance should stand shoulder to shoulder . Without them,we are screwed. They are public servants and should all have equal rights including Police having the right to strike.

Tory cronyism on 21:09 - Apr 14 by Nortbankboy | We are not on about Labour any one else in the past. We are talking about today's government. The anglicized Jack's always try to turn around to labour. Anyway I'm of to watch the programme on bent coppers. |
I've noticed that as well that the anglicised Jack's try to turn things around onto Labour.

Tory cronyism on 22:17 - Apr 15 with 802 views | Catullus | Turn things onto Labour....we live in Wales which has been Labour run for over 20 years. Isn't it the case the Labour supporters always say "ah, but Boris...." or "it's the tories"? How is it wrong to pull Labour up for things done in Wales?

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Tory cronyism on 19:13 - Apr 15 by onehunglow | Maybe we should have equal pay for all and only have differential if your job directly benefits the State. That would mean you Chrissy getting the same as one on working in McDonalds. No? Everyone wants to earn a much as possible including you and you aint bothered as to how much more you would be paid . Everyone is s socialist on here all for equality in everything .Trouble is if wages were lowered to higher others then rockets would fly. It is why socialism is utter la la land |
Eh? Are you talking about socialism or communism? You seem to use the terms interchangeably. [Post edited 15 Apr 2021 22:58]

Tory cronyism on 23:20 - Apr 14 by raynor94 | And Anthony Charles Lynton Blair was whiter than white, and don't let's even go down the road of what the Labour Union Barons have got up too. They are all the same, drunk on Power. |
Those instances are nowhere near the level of corruption . Hancock now revealed as having shares in a company awarded lucrative contracts. This is far worse than any Labour administration- it’s naked corruption ffs [Post edited 16 Apr 2021 12:48]
