Should people who are exempt from wearing face masks on medical grounds be made to shield, for their own safety and the safety of others. IMO opinion it makes no sense for people to be allowed into confined spaces without a face mask. It certainly would simplify matters, no face mask no entry 100%.

I use youtube mainly for reminiscing on misspent years out of the sun. It brings your past right up close and it's scary but glorious.

Look and listen to the Rickenbacker

There's some good stuff on there too, I accept that but people can post what they like without much fact checking and it can be a dangerous thing.

I wonder how many of Trumps supporters regularly watch youtube channels that spout hatred and endorse violence.

PS facemasks, they are meant to help lower the spread and if you are infectious, reduce the viral load you emit. They need to be worn properly and are only any good if you wear them AND obey the other rules, distancing and hand washing. Even distancing isn't any good if some minger sneezes without covering their mouth.

It's not that difficult.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I was going to do a few Neil Young covers but got bogged down in the technology of it all and had a good man sulk ,then left it alone.
Probably just as well

Hmmm, Riess is a biologist, Bhakdi a Microbiologist....is it relevant they are married? Probably not.
The book...false alarm...

Now here's my issue, this book is their opinion. I don't doubt their qualifications or experience but what are their motives for writing this book? Are they interested in the greater good or just doing something controversial to make a shedload of money?

Stats are there to be manipulated and misused, how can I be sure any stats in this book are not manipulated and misused?

I think actually, I'll stay away from this book. I doubt reading it is going to change very much and it certainly won't change the UK ruleswhich I'll still have to live by.

This book regards the facts and figures. It actually shows how the stats have been manipulated.
You don't have don't agree with stuff you read, mind. There are three sides to every story. It's good to hear them all before making decisions/judgements IMO.
It's a very interesting book whether you doubt their reasons for doing it or not.

IMO, there are no discussions about the stats we are fed through the media. They are just taken as true, because the people in government and NHS tell us it's true. However, they don't say how they get these figures. The book explains it in simple English.

edit...you're right, the rules can't be changed, but it can help ease people's anxiety about it all. I gace it to my mother, as she's terrified of catching it. I'll let you know if she feels better after it, or not.

Beards?

They are hairs that sprout out of the chins of people that want to look scruffy and dirty.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

The figures have been used and abused on here, quite a bit. Because these people seem to have been discredited I doubt their motives. If I thought they had the best motives I would read it.

The book explains it from their point of view, it doesn't mean it's right or accurate. What if their intention is to mislead?

If I read this book nd believed it completely is it going to ake me feel better or is it going to make me angry?

For the sake of my hypertension I'll give it a miss
