It certainly was . I was flying from North Africa that day and left a temperature of + 34 degrees to land in Manchester at -2 and 5 inches of the white stuff.

You’d easily still land in that much white stuff still....

Poll: What is it to be then?

Less than 1500 home fans last night, will we have enough bandwaggons?

I reckon there will be thousands coming out of the woodwork for this one. Not as big as the FA cup but would think 5,000+.

what a fantastic and well deserved draw for an honest club that plays by the rules.

That’s today that is, why no press release explaining the delay?

Come on Man U, you’re supposed to be a big club, sort it out!

Meanwhile, back at Gigg......

Posts like this are exactly why they think our fans are “obsessed” we’ve just drawn united and the first thing you comment about on the thread is bury. As i said earlier, each to their own.

Great draw, never thought i’d get to go old trafford watching rochdale. Cant wait now

All the years Hill had been here and the closest he got to drawing his beloved Utd was when we got FC Utd, BBM is in charge less than a year and he gets the big one! He certainly does have the luck of the Irish.

It's a shame that the "big" local club in our Division has gone tits up as you would have had a trip out next March.

If anyone is thinking of buying a half half scarf then buy it on the way home as the sellers are usually eager to offload and sell them half price

The best thing about this draw is that it should make it much harder for a club to come in with a bid for Henderson or Camps on deadline day.

It would be preferable that tickets were reasonably priced across the board for everyone. One main factor when agreeing prices with United is considering those home fans who are committed to paying for the game whether they attend or not. Hopefully, sensible prices all round.

Season tickets are for league games only so any discount will surely benefit the Utd fans as well whether they attend or not unless I've missed something?

United season ticket holders can opt out of League Cup tickets if they want (not sure if that is a change from previous seasons):

I can't see lots of them going if the price is high. I think us getting £1m for this game is a bit optimistic but we will see.

When Utd are in L1 and we play them twice a year like we do Bolton, Ipswich and Sunderland, anyone buying one will wonder why they bothered.
