Gilks would be a good signing in my book. Always been a good keeper who made it as high as the premier league, loads of experience so will hopefully be vocal and a local lad who’s come through our ranks.

Gilks was an excellent shot stopper, and always made sure his defense knew where he wanted them in the way Logan did. I'd be very happy with him as an experienced head at the back but I hope his kicking has improved!

I'd be happy with that.
He got so much stick when he was with us, mostly due to his kicking, but his shot stopping was superb. I know there's a lot to goalkeeping, even more so in the 'modern' game, but I've seen very few Dale goalkeepers that are better at keeping the ball out of the net.
If Gilks did come in, we'd have two genuine no1's at the club.

His shot stopping ability was never in doubt for sure. It would be interesting if he was to come in whether he'd get into the team ahead of Lillis.
