I wish I'd kept it.... 21:14 - Aug 11 with 12274 viewsRamseyR

You often hear people say it.... So, what have you got rid of, that you wished you still had?

For me my MK1 Ford escort, my Suzuki TS125 and a little bit of the old Loftus Road plastic pitch

Back in the 2000's I drove a VW Fox, just like this one

Manual 4 speed that would start at -40C and just did not quit - this thing was indestructible, except the exhaust system needed replacing which was more than the car was worth - apparently. I was wrong, should have paid the $1200 CDN to have it done and would probably still be running.

A signed picture of David Seaman when he played for QPR.

When I was a lad we lived in the same street in Uxbridge, he once gave me signed photo of himself. After a while, I took it out the frame, binned it, and put a picture of a Lamborghini in it instead.

All my old panini sticker albums . I had every football one completed from 1981 onwards including all the world cups.
Then there was the Star Wars one amongst others.

When I really want to depress myself , I go on eBay and look at the prices some of the mint condition ones go for now

Just cleared out my old attic and dug out a box of dusty old tapes from the minute I got into music (1986 or so) all the way up to mid 90s. Crappy mix tapes from the top 40 on Capital, random snatches of pirate radio from the early 90s, dodgy bootlegs from Camden Market etc.

Logic (and the wife) says bin them all but I'm currently driving around in a knackered old Audi A2 with a tape player and been listening to random selections the last week, it's been brilliant.

They're all staying.

Yeh ,I wish I kept all my mix tapes. Had loads recorded off Kiss fm ,Colins Favor and Dale, Don Fm plus my mixes.
I sold loads of vinyl which I wish I kept and my first set of Technics 1200's.

I wish I kept a few of my marbles as well.

Occasional providers of half decent House music.

There is a hero of the road! Nice looking car too. Our car isn't worth more than £100 to the insurance thieves (after a European truck nearly rolled the car a few years back and we enquired about repair costs - cheeky feckers). Its worth the cost of a brand new Maybach to us, and very soon will be considered a classic (its a 1996 VW Golf Mk3 and in cracking condition, much loved and looked after!), at least we wont have to pay the road tax then!

My genuine Adidas 1986 QPR Guinness shirt. I would have loved to have been able to pass that on to my son in a few of years time when he reaches 7.

Failing that - my beautiful pristine royal blue bridge suspended Fender Stratocaster which I sold for a ridiculously low price before I went travelling - to raise a bit more spending money.
That thing played it'self.

Im with you toast on the 86 Guinness top as it was my first kit and the first full year I went to all of the home games (bar Chelsea 6-0 ) oh and the England 86 world cup kit and tracksuit my old girl threw away

I also had the dennis the menace influence kit which I gave away

also back in the day when I went to record shops and raves I used to pick up the flyers
my whole bedroom was covered in them , I gave them to a little lad up the road a few years later but I had hundreds of the things and some really good ones as well

oh and being the spoilt little barsteward I had every single star wars figure and ship going (monkey roots will probably say the same )
the whole lot , god knows what happened to them but they are worth a fortune now

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Poll: Remy - can he play in the playoffs - who's opening post is the best?
